Root Touch-Up Permanent Hair Dye, 6 Light Brown

This is my go-to for quick root touch-ups. I have dark brown hair and the shade blends really well, covering greys effectively without looking harsh or obvious. What I like most is how easy and fast it is to use. Everything is included in the box (gloves, colourant and developer), you just mix and apply, leave for around 10 minutes, then rinse. It’s very convenient if you don’t want to spend time or money at the salon. A useful tip: I don’t need the full amount each time, so I usually use about half and save the rest for another touch-up a few weeks later. That makes it very good value for money. The only thing to be careful with is application — it can stain surfaces if it drips or touches the sink/shower, so make sure to rinse everything straight away. Otherwise it can be difficult to remove. Overall, very effective, quick, and great value. I keep coming back to it.

Perfect for me. Easy to use . I used to use the clairol permanent dark brown normal hair dye but they changed the ingredients and it turned my roots orange so I've gone back to the root touch up..Perfect for me i have a short bob hairstyle and I use 2 boxes on my roots and it covers perfectly. My hair grows really quick and my hairdresser used to dye it every 2 / 3 weeks but since covid lock down I've been doing it myself, with a bit of help to do the back 😀 hell of alot cheaper than at the hairdressers, just pay to have it cut now. I highly recommend plus it's cheaper on here than in supermarkets.

Does exactly what it says on the box. Root touch up. I’ve used a fair few different hair dyes before but the results for this one speaks for itself. Very easy to apply. Will be buying again :)

A handy product to colour roots, I find this is less of a faff than some products. The box includes an instruction leaflet that is sealed with a pair of plastic-type gloves inside. There is no conditioner supplied. The 2 x 15 ml products are numbered: ‘1’ & ‘2’ in the various diagrams and are easy to open. They are relatively easy to mix together with the application brush in the little transparent, plastic-type, oval shaped dish provided and, unexpectedly perhaps, the mixed product is creamy coloured to start with! There doesn't look like there will be enough, either, but there is, I find. I tend to leave on for the extra 5 minutes as advised in the instructions. The result is good and lasts until new growth starts to show. However, partings can look a bit coloured initially, in my experience. 📝 ‘Always perform an allergy test and strand test prior to using the hair colour’ ooOoo ~ CLAIROL ~ ROOT TOUCH-UP ~ PERMANENT HAIR DYE SHADE: 4/DARK BROWN ooOoo The root touch up set is presented in a cardboard box measuring around 16 cm x 7.5 cm x 5 cm, so not too bulky. The ingredients are clear, as are the instructions. I tend to wear rubber gloves rather than those supplied, as the colour is hard to remove from hands once developed, I find. I would recommend wiping away any residue around the hairline, back of the neck & ears before the wait time, for the same reason. The brush supplied is a good size and with the relatively thick blended product, little or no mess is created if care is taken, also in my experience. It is relatively easy to rinse away and the overall result is shiny, healthy looking hair, also in my experience. There is a fairly potent odour as you would expect with a product of this kind but not as bad as some. I always open a window before using. [16 images attached]

They really meant it when they said “nice and easy”. Super easy and quick to apply (although I prefer to just use my hands rather than the provided brush). Smells v nice too :)

This is so good if you only need to touch up your roots and don’t have much grey. You may never need to go to the hairdressers for highlights again. It’s so simple and quick to use.

Product good ( I have used this previously ) but very poor packaging and the boxes had been crushed

Ich habe das Root Touch-Up gekauft, um eine kleine Stelle mit weißen Haaren am Ansatz gezielt zu färben, ohne direkt die ganze Haarfarbe anzumischen – und genau dafür ist es perfekt. Die Farbe lässt sich sehr präzise und sparsam anmischen, sodass man wirklich nur die Menge verwendet, die man braucht. Das Ergebnis wirkt natürlich und weich, nicht blockig oder „aufgemalt“. Weiße Haare werden deutlich abgedeckt, ohne dass der Ansatz hart oder künstlich aussieht. Besonders positiv: • ideal für punktuelles Nachfärben • sparsam im Verbrauch (reicht für viele Anwendungen) • natürliches Ergebnis, auch bei feinem Haar • kein sichtbarer Übergang zum restlichen Haar Einzelne sehr feine Haare können je nach Auftrag minimal heller bleiben, was ich persönlich sogar als Vorteil empfinde, da das Ergebnis dadurch realistisch und nicht maskenhaft wirkt. Ich habe Vorher-/Nachher-Fotos hochgeladen – der Unterschied ist klar zu sehen. Für alle, die nicht ständig komplett färben wollen, sondern gezielt und kontrolliert nachbessern möchten, absolut empfehlenswert.
