My husband says these are his favorite socks. Not hot. Not cold. Comfy! And professional-ish.

If what you are looking for is a pair of socks to deal with winter outdoors, this could be a pair. But they are itchy. Perhaps because of the wool itself. What I do is to use them with another pair of very thin socks, tights could also work, and I get the warm and protect my skin from the itchy sensation. If you are looking for socks to be at home and go to bed, these are not the best, unless you don’t have heat at home. But if you are looking for a pair of socks to deal with the snow, these are helpful, if they are not the first contact with your skin. They are like a coat for your feet. Also, I don’t know if after washing them, that could change. I haven’t washed them yet. Good luck! And I wear 8(US) 39(Europe).

These are pretty good socks not gonna lie warm and comfy there a good price love that they are 80% wool I forgot what the ratio of alpaca to sheep I believe it’s 42 to 38 but they do sag down because of the high wool percentage. I wear boots so I don’t notice it till I take them off and wear them around the house. Wish they where a bit thicker when it’s cold like this winter was being in the 20s to low 30s I had to wear my thicker sooks but as it’s warmed up they work just fine I hope to wear them as my main socket during the summer as my feet swell up do to the heat and sweat alot which is why I bought these socks to keep my feet dry.

We usually never write reviews, but me and my husband love these socks so much. We got rid of all of other poly-blend socks and only wear these. I wore a hole through the toe of one, but it was easily mended. I hand wash once a week and they dry well. They’re breathable and don’t get sweaty or stinky. I swear by wool! Note: they can be itchy at first but wear in well, especially after washing (can add a little lanolin to the wash to soften too)

Exactly what I wanted. Finally socks that keep my feet warm. They are NOT itchy at all! Seem to be well made. Well worth the $12 a pair especially when you consider two pair of Polar Fleece or similar are the same price AND those do not keep you warm.

warning: these socks were so itchy that I could not wear them, they were nothing like the four pairs of soft alpaca socks I purchased from Go-With (zig-zag version) which are cozy and warm. I waited too long to try them on and missed the return date, but customer service is excellent and they refunded my purchase.

I have worn it to go to work, go on hikes, and just around the house. Comfortable and does a great job a regulating the temperature of my feet. I get sweaty and smelly feet sometimes, but these really do a good job of not smelling terrible. The reviews about the odor are absolutely true! Not going to smell like fresh linen, but it is definitely better than any other socks I have. I'll take that any day.Two issues: having to hand wash because I want to last longer... and it still sheds A LOT. Hoping that goes away after several more washes. It is like washing an actual sheep in the sink!

Amazing product! I ordered this for my husband for Christmas on Dec 20th with the knowledge that it wouldn’t be here until Dec. 29th and I was okay with that. Then I looked today, Dec. 23rd and it’s in my mail!! My husband is going to be so thrilled on Christmas morning and he can wear them on his hunting trip the day after Christmas!!! Where I live in northern British Columbia when we get winter we really get winter. We just passed through a cold spell of temperatures below minus 40 and the issue I have as I get older is my feet get cold and it's pretty uncomfortable. So after a lot of research, I decided to buy two pairs of these and I am very pleased they keep my feet warm occasionally. When I'm outside for hours I do have to throw another pair of socks over the top but with the temperatures we have that's not a surprise. But inside during the day my feet are toasty and I'm a lot more comfortable. I definitely would buy more of these as well as I would recommend them.

The product was not up to standard. Product description says Merino wool, whereas it's sheeps wool. The soles of the socks were not thick enough for long wear and the cost was exorbitant for those 2 reasons. Product returned Oct 14th, prepaid postage $18+ , product rec'd by sender on Oct 18th, here it is Oct 27th and still no refund. Be wary people.
