Please don’t buy this accessory even if it says that is full filed by amazon. When I got the accessory, I connect it to my device and immediately a message showed up saying that my device didn’t support it. Then, I restart my phone with the adapter plugged and it seemed working pretty well. It looked like the phone was charging and the music was playe as well. However, less than 2 min after a song started to play, the audio stopped. I unplugged and plugged the audio cable and the music played again but I got the same problem over and over. I decide to restart the phone again but the no supporting message showed up again. Definitely I wasted my money buying this adapter.

Note to Apple: Sometimes Less is Less (not 'more')
I was actually thinking one of the outlets would be a regular headphone plug. Not exactly sure what Apple was thinking when they ditched the earphone 'radio plug' on the 8 model. It just complicates life. I hate continuously asking myself 'Talk or Charge?', 'Charge or groove to Tunes?' Now I can do both by using this piece to sort out the foolishness.

Works for a few months.
I loved this because I love playing music on my phone but it also dies super quick so this was great as it would do both while I drove. It worked great for months but then it stopped working but I guess for the price that was expected.

Works as described
I use this item in my car and it works majority of the time. Sometimes it gives the usual error message that apple doesn’t support it, but all you have to do is unplug it and plug it back in and it will start functioning properly.

Does what its supposed to do. I will be watching it to make sure that my device does not start having trouble recognizing the charger or headphones as sometimes happens with off brand products.

Not worth it, breaks easy.
It broke the second time I used it. The port actually disconnected inside the adapter. Too bad I didn’t try it sooner so I could return it.
