Comfortable and fit perfectly
I’m a fan of Maidenform shapewear, their shorts in particular. This type is slightly different to the ones I normally buy - these shorts are made of a thinner fabric and are less constrictive. They also don’t have an opening on the gusset like the other shorts do (I find that feature absolutely pointless anyway).Under your clothes, these shorts give you a very nice, smooth silhouette and dare I say, they appear to lift your derriere. I think they’re ultimately more wearable than the type I already own, because you don’t feel totally squeezed and they’re not as warm. So, personally, I think I might switch to this style from now on.PS: I was sent a Medium - I wear a UK size 10 and found the fit was perfect.

A good looking product and fits well.
So far a good product and fit but as I haven't worn it to see what it is like when worn I kept a star back! It arrived quickly and packaged well.

Too thin. Not for me.
Thin very stretchy material. I found them too tight and uncomfortable.

A good fit as product described and soft smooth light fabric
To smooth and fit my body comfortably under clothes for a better silhouhette

Comfortable and smoothing
I have spanx and these do not have the strong control of a pair of spanx control knickers but they are smoothing, they stay up well and give a nice smooth line under form fitting clothes. They are very light and comfortable and wash well.

Getting used to them!
This is a product that I have wanted to try for a while but have never actually had the courage to do before now! Having seen a friend try on in several fitting rooms a few years ago for her daughters wedding, I was intrigued by shapewear but also slightly horrified at the same time. The friend had a near emergency to get out of said item at the wedding, when she was bursting for a pee, which was hilarious but near disasterous at the same time. I really didn't want to go there myself; also I am old enough to remember when women wore those awful corsets everyday and couldn't eat or drink. Having got a few bobbly bits in my early 60s now, I thought I would have a go. I am a normal size 12, but found these fitted more like a 10, which is not really what I would call a medium as stated on the label; I would call a 12 medium, not a 10, so that is why I have only given them four stars, a contension over size to start with. Having said that, I managed, with much laughing from husband to get them on and up into place and still breathe. Once on they didn't seem to tight at all and yes, I practiced getting them up and down before going out in them, to prevent emergencies arising in the ladies. They did give a nice sleek line under a black dress, husband and me agreed that they smoothed out wobbly stomach and the hip area generally. I wouldn't say they made me look a size smaller or anything, just generally more toned up and smoother. Unlike the awful corsets I remember from my teenage years, these have no uncomfortable zips or metal bits to stick in you or to have to do up and best of all, not pinging suspender holders (anyone remember those monstrosities?). Whether this was worth the slight discomfort of having to eat less and move less, the jury is out. I am generally one who abhors anything vaguely fake in nature and these are a bit reminescent of false boobs or teeth or hairpieces etc (probably my hangup only). I am also a bit of an old hippy at heart and take glamour only as far as it is comfortable and relaxed looking, so not sure I am the intended victim. However, I do intend to take them on a cruise in Feb to celebrate a big birthday and will probably give me the confidence to wear something I would not otherwise wear. I also go around wondering now, how many of those ladies dressed up for events are not naturally as sleek as they look anyway, but down to wearing their own shapewear?
