Works like a charm!!
I have already re-sharpened a blade 3 different times to good-as-new condition!! I also re-sharpened a blade my friend had seriously dulled cutting tons of denim, and it's perfect again! The sharpener is definitely easy to use, and I just saw from other comments that there is a video, so that might be worth checking out. I make sure to put a little water on the sharpening surfaces, rotate the blade in the same direction on the sharpener, and apply slight pressure as I turn until I don't hear/feel any resistance, about 15 spins. Well worth the little bit of time and effort to save $ on blades, and ensures you have a fresh, sharp edge any time you want without running out to the store. My biggest problem is that I forget how to put my rotary cutter back together again!

This sharpener will pay for itself in no time.
I was doubtful that this cutter was worth the price. I decided to give it a try because my first pack of titanium blades cost way more than I expected. I went through my first blade in no time, it started skipping really early on, and skipping threads with a rotary cutter is a big pain, as I'm sure all will agree. So I tested my new sharpener, I did about 20 turns on the each side and did not try the blade for a few days. Wow! I'm really impressed with the performance of my sharpened blade. I can honestly say that the newly sharpened blade has cut more than twice as much as the original edge put on by Olfa, and it's still going strong. This is very surprising, it's working far better than I had hoped it would. At the price of replacing blades the cost was almost prohibitive, and I considered going back to using scissors. 1'm making masks to donate so replacing blades so often really increases the total cost. If you're skeptical about this, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Works great
Love the fact it works to sharpen all brands of rotary blades, which saves me money. Usual a blade is dull after 1 quilt with resharpening Ive used same blade for 2 quilts. That includes batting and backing cuts.

Doesn't work as well as advertised.
I have to work real hard to get it to sharpen and then the blades don't last through more than a few cuts.

Disappointed
Despite being recommended by Karen Brown of “Just Get It Done Quilts,” I found this tool to be inadequate for sharpening my rotary blades. It did not work well at all and I ended up returning it. I wish there was a device that could really bring older blades back to life. Save your money until one is developed.

I was hoping it worked, but a little doubtful
I expected it to be harder to use and to only do a so-so job of sharpening my blades. I was happily surprised at how quick and easy it was to use and how well it worked. I would only add to things that would make it better: A magnet that picks up the blade so you don't risk getting cut and a crank so that you can more easily turn the pieces to sharpen the blade.I might look for one that has those features, but if I don't find one, this will always do the job.

works ... sort of
I tried this on several blades and while it helped for a few cuts, it's not really for "sharpening". All it does is smooth the edges that get rounded, which sounds like sharpening, but it's not a proper sharpening. Also, where do you get new sandpaper? I mean, for the price, I could get a lot of sandpaper to accomplish the same thing.Just spend a few bucks more for longer-lasting blades and don't waste your money on this.
