Got this after seeing a similar one recommended on Instagram by a hair growth expert. I have thinning post-menopausal hair so I'm trying a few things to remedy the situation. This brush thing plus a shower water filter and new shampoos. I'll update this review if it makes a difference to my hair with time. This is a very nice massage brush. The teeth are sturdy but bendy silicone, so it feels nice and only a bit scratchy on your head. Apparently you're not supposed to use it to shampoo your hair, says the hair expert. Hair is too fragile and could break when wet. You're meant to use it on dry hair to stimulate the scalp. So we will see. She recommends using it to massage gently in small circles all over your scalp. This is supposed to exfoliate away dead skin and debris and stimulate more blood flow to the hair follicles. Makes sense. It feels quite nice. Also great for removing pet hair from furniture and carpets and brushing out loose hair from dogs' and cats' coats, so if it doesn't turn me into Rapunzel it won't be a total waste of money!

The soft silicone bristles feel great on my scalp and really help with dandruff removal. It’s perfect for a relaxing shower massage and feels soothing after a long day. I’ve noticed it’s also helping with hair growth by stimulating my scalp. The pink color is cute, and the brush is easy to hold. Definitely a must-have for anyone looking for a gentle, effective way to take care of their scalp

I have medium length, fine hair, of which there is quite a lot of it. I have also been dealing with an itchy and flaky scalp for the past couple of years which nothing I use has helped to clear up. I was a bit sceptical at first that this would rid me of the flaky scalp but I was willing to give it a try, and also at the price (which is cheaper than some shampoos) I thought why not! I read some other reviews prior to my purchase where they'd said it had hurt their scalp when using and torn their hair so I was cautious my first time using it, however I found it really gentle but firm enough to massage my scalp properly. It has not pulled out any of my hair either (and as I said above I have fine hair) so I found myself wondering if some of the reviewers went all out hulk when using this as I don't understand how it hurt their scalp! I've used this about five times so far and I rub the shampoo into my hair as normal and then use this to massage my scalp in small circular motions. I love it, it feels really relaxing as it massages the scalp and I can feel it cleaning with the shampoo right down to the roots. I do actually feel that my hair is cleaner and lighter when I get out of the shower. Now, it hasn't completely removed the flakes from my scalp but they have lessened and my head is not as itchy. This isn't a miracle cure that will get rid of dandruff but it does help to lessen and it feels great to use, you can even use it on dry hair just for a head massage. My husband also loves it and is using it all the time! I think I may need to buy another one just for him as we will soon be fighting over using just the one. This really was worth the £8 spend and I'm enjoying my daily head massage in the shower, bliss!

Ordered this as I was having issues with my scalp flaking and becoming sore. I’d tried everything (changing shampoo’s etc) and nothing worked. This was an absolute game changer! After a couple of washes my scalp was back to normal and the issue hasn’t returned. My hair had been at a standstill with growth but as it’s long I wasn’t too bothered. Since using this my hair has a good couple of inches over the space or a few months! Items really cheap, decent quality, worked really well for me! Comes in Pink and the ‘prongs’ are hard enough to give your scalp a good clean but not too hard it causes pain or discomfort. Would highly recommend to everyone!

Very effective, a great saver for long nails and feels like it gets the scalp and hair good and clean. Hair feels fuller afterward but that could be me!

Fantastic small product to help scrub the scalp. The design was very ergonomic, which was great. The bristles were soft, but not too soft to not actually exfoliate the scrub. Unfortunately, within 2 months, the soft plastic separated from the hard plastic. I've used 2 different scalp massagers to use whilst in the shower and neither have broken with extensive use. I would not buy the product again.

Always skeptical of gimmicky things but when you're desperate and your doctor won't see you due to the plague Amazon it was! So glad I made this purchase. I suffer from itchy scalp which in turn becomes tender/sore scalp due to the constant itching. Having watched a video (yes I watched a video on how to wash my hair, sue me) I realised I use too much product and not enough washing it out due to my wrist hurting. This product I have a technique I use: I do one spot, gently, for five/six seconds and move onto the next patch. The product is designed in a way that feels natural meaning its ergonomic and you feel no strain on the wrist or your hands. Be gentle, not aggressive, it should feel nice on your scalp, not like Freddy Krueger going at your scalp. You can do the gentle circular motion or do the up and down motion or side to side motion, there is no right one, its whatever works for you really, hey you might even come up with a new one - believe in yourself. I use it after I shampoo my hair and during rinsing too. Huzzah, not only is my scalp not itchy anymore, after the first use my noticed a huge reduction in dandruff too. My dandruff currently has been eliminated by 90%. Before I had the top part of my head littered with dandruff and it was clearly visible. If you're worrier your hair will become a huge cat ball hair of a mess fear not fellow washer, I have medium long thick hair. All thou needst to do is brush out your hair starting at the tip and working up in small increments and hold the top part just above the brush it makes for better brushing. Never brush wet hair as it will weaken the hair shafts leading to breakage. And we don't want to be adding more problems in our lives, Boris and Co are doing that fine!
