OK, I know that poop is not a fun subject to discuss, but I have to share my experience after using this product because it is the S..T!!! Literally!!! I mean I had constipation for days and tried some other well known brands of laxative and none them worked for me. However, when I tried this particular Senna Tea...I let it steep in the hot water for about 2-3 mins...it has a very tolerable taste (somewhat sweet not to bitter), but I added a little honey and a slight squeeze of lemon just for flavor but you can drink it straight if you like. in literature that I researched it says that Senna contains a laxative property (sennoside) 'it works by irritating the lining of the colon. This promotes colon contractions and bowel movements" and that it takes about 6-12 hours to work but I guess that depends on each individual and the brand ....I am only reviewing this brand because it is what I used!!! I guess it will vary with other brands. Best to take at night before bed and stay hydrated with water while taking.. Now...let's get to the good stuff! Babyyyyyyy...when I tell you that in about that 12 hour window (the next morning) I had this strong urge to go but not like that rush feeling but definitely (gotta go!)... and when I went "the flood gates opened" ...you talking about RELIEF!!!!!...I felt like a whole new person (hahaha)...I know that it took off some bonus pounds...it had too!!! lol. Worked so well for me I just wanted to share my amazing poop story (hahaha)!! Now, it may or may not work for you but if you have IBS or Constipation issues it is worth a try:-). You may want to check with you doctor to make sure this is OK for you to take if you have any health issues or taking medications (just to make sure its ok). Otherwise, I hope this helps someone. Oh, I also read that you don't want to drink this tea everyday just as needed. I think a cup or 2 or 3 will get that S..T right up outta ya! Good Pooping Luck"-)

About 3 hours after I drank this senna tea, I was flowing and feeling better. I used 2 tea bags and about 16-20 oz of boiling water to steep for 10 minutes. I also squeezed half a lemon in it and added honey for flavor. I prefer this tea over the Smooth Move brand tea now, taste wise.. The price is better too.

This tea doesn't taste bad but it didn't work too fast for me. I thought it would work faster than it did but, when it did, it worked lol....time frame may be different for you but it definitely gets the job done !

It is working! Don't drink it if you're going to be busy because it's going to flush your stomach. I will buy it again

This senna tea is excellent!

I think the Senna Teabags I received must be too old to work. Normally Senna teabags are a great, fast acting laxative. The ones I received do not work, at all. I even doubled up on the bags and let the bags steep for longer than recommended, yet they still had no effect on my body. I do not recommend buying these teabags from this seller.

Based on trying it one time only, I am satisfied with the result. I liked its gentleness in the way it worked compared to some brands which are harsher. Should I experience it differently in the future, will report back.
