It is a conductor
I applied it directly to the battery posts on my Kubota tractor prior to re-connecting the terminals (after they have been thoroughly cleaned) . This product evidently a conductor, because it the battery works fine

NCP2 Spray nozzle of can clogs up
I have used this product for many years with success, however the new type can I recently bought clogged up after i did my truck and car batteries. Customer service told me to soak it in hot soppy water. I did that but it didn't unclog the nozzle. I finnaly took off the nozzle, turned the can upside down and pressed it on the battery terminal on the riding lawnmower I was trying to coat with the product. Enough finnaly came out to finish coating the riding lawn mower terminals. Customer service no help, Something must have changed in the manufacture of this product. Too expensive to have this kind of problem.
