I purchased this for a client for Christmas, just something for their good business but not personal since she's a married woman, this would be just a trinket to put on her desk. I was looking for the most bang for the buck and saw the AMAZON dimension for the piece as 6" tall (6.1 x 3.8 x 3.5 inches). I used this in comparison with the other items featured in this same line, I actually had three different Matashi pieces I was considering, but went with this one because it was the 'biggest' and was less expensive. Well, WRONG. Amazon dimensions are OFF BY TWO FULL INCHES. If you go back up and read carefully (I did not, my fault) the Matashi manufacturer shows the dimensions in the detail, which are 4 x 3.8 x 3.5 inches! Oh well, too late to send it back now, I've got an appointment with the client Tuesday. Disappointed in the height but happy with the craftsmanship. The boxing is elegant, too. A handsome green box, open it and inside is a beautiful green drawstring bag I'm sure she could use for other future items, then delicate wrapping which then reveals the vase. Had I known it was going to be much smaller than Amazon advertised, I would have upped my budget to the 40 dollar Matashi. But overall these are nice pieces.

My sister-in-law was very happy to receive it for their Ruby anniversary.Love it.

This was supposed to be a Christmas present for my mother. Giving her this MINUTE item is an embarrassment to say the least. If I had seen this item in person, there is no way in hell I would have paid $24.99 for something this damn small. Now I have to go find another gift to either put with this mess or better yet, return this as this is a poor excuse for a gift to someone that means so much to you.
