Decent, not great way to pass a few hours.
Disclosure: I did not purchase this for a child to paint. I noted the craze of paint and wine parties and decided to have my own with paint and tea. I quickly realized why wine is involved for adults who haven't picked up a paint brush artistically in decades. Yikes. I need a lot more practice. The product arrived in a clear bag, with supplies tucked behind the canvas. The bristles on the flat brush were bent due to this, but a bit of water helped put them somewhat back in shape. The numbers were easy to follow, with each paint pot numbered to match the spot on the canvas.Cons? The paint is thick, to the point where closing a pot and reopened it showed a skin of paint already starting. Yet the color is thin enough for some of it to not cover the numbers/lines entirely. The background color - I went off the schematic and went black - was awfully close to not enough to work. (The other colors had plenty.) Due to the canvas material, you may need to put the paint on thicker or in multiple coats to cover the texture, and it makes it hard to match exact lines.I did most of the work with the flat brush, just going to the thinner brush at the end. The thinner brush did not do well with the paint to draw neat lines, I would have been better off with the flat brush angled right.

Dried out paint
Liked the canvas itself, however, the paints it came with were dried out and hard as a rock. Could not use them at all. My son (6 yrs) was so disappointed because he was looking forward to doing this for several days and when it was finally time, he couldn't use the paint. It wasn't worth the hassle sending it back and waiting for a new one to be shipped so we just used acrylics we had on hand.

These turned out so great with my granddaughter. She was able to do most of it on her own!
