A wonderful book introducing the mathematical descriptions of Loop Quantum Gravity
Extra ordinary and superb book. So, the point is that, this introduces you to the field of Loop Quantum Gravity mathematically, as a large number of audience knows about String Theory, but there is another mathematical approach out there for Quantum Space-time, so Loop Quantum Gravity is mathematically a non-perturbative background independent approach to Quantum Space-time. So, this book is written by young theoretical physicists like Eugino Bianchi, Biancha Dittrich, Parampreet Singh, Alok Laddha and many others. But in fact this book is a series of papers on Loop Quantum Gravity, so each chapter for example the Chapter Loop Quantum Cosmology is an article by Parampreet Singh. So, each chapter is an article. This is both and introductory book, this is suitable for the beginning researchers and also for experts in the field. So, this book is highly recommended.. A great book.

Good overview
I like the book although the topic is very abstract. Quantizing the space is not trivial and requires advanced mathematics. There is also a connection to Penrose's ideas, which I find helpful. If you want to get an overview of the topic it is not a bad book. Unfortunately, a comparison with experiment doesn't seem to be trivial.
