I use a free app called Yuka that impartially rates many food and beauty products for quality and "risky ingredients". Yuka rates this Fiji Fragrance Free lotion as " Excellent 93/100" categories. This product works very well for dry skin, no greasiness, absorbs quickly. I've ordered this numerous times.

My husband and I first tried an almost identical lotion to this one at the Waimea Valley Park botanical preserve in northern Oahu, Hawaii, which the locals advised worked as a mosquito repellent. We walked the entire jungle-like terrain for five hours and didn't get ONE MOSQUITO BITE, to our amazement. Now years later I am more familiar with why this ingredient combination works so well - both coconut and orange oils are natural pesticides, and lemongrass is a known herbal mosquito repellent. Thus, you have a fragrant body lotion that you can wear indoors as protection against those stray biting mosquitoes and flies, you won't be greasy and will smell nice. With summer and West Nile already upon us, it is of ultra importance to protect yourself from dangerous mosquito bites, and I much prefer all natural products incorporating essential oils as opposed to deet-containing poisons. This product also comes in a smaller travel or carry-along size which is a good "try it first, see if you like it" alternative. Update 5/22 Having used this lotion for years as my main facial moisturizer, I have just received the new version of the Lemongrass Tangerine which is my favorite in summer months as it also repels mosquitoes. As a mature woman I was pleasantly surprised to find that Coco Fiji has made this product more moisturizing yet non-greasy, after applying it my makeup goes on very smoothly and it enhances my appearance. Fabulous lotion I highly recommend, Lemongrass Tangerine in summer and Tea Tree Spearmint in winter. Great new pump bottle as well

I bought like 4 different scents. They left my skin feeling super moisturized, and soft. It’s not greasy which I love and it’s uber light weight. The best part is you get your money’s worth. This is my go to body lotion! Will buy again.

I use this on my face, and the unscented one has done wonders for me. I have a raw spot on both sides of my nose where my glasses sit (not from my glasses I don’t think but they made it worse). Anyways, this lotion has helped it heal significantly. It’s still raw, but it’s a LOT better. The lotion is also so gentle that it did not burn to apply it onto that spot, whereas with my old (yes unscented) lotion it did burn. The lotion is thick, and I have VERY combination skin so this is both good and bad, I was expecting to look greasy. BUT. If you use a smaller amount than you usually would a little will go a long way and will leave for face refreshed and feeling light. It will not look greasy or feel heavy as long as you don’t use as much as you would with a thinner moisturizer, and will hydrate your skin much more.

I have a hereditary ichthyosis and live in the high desert around 6,000 ft above sea level. I use so many lotions, trying to find the perfect one that will help ease my pain during the winter time. I came from an island and love the smell of sweet coconut and I’m also attracted to natural products. I thought this lotion would be an instant hit. It arrived quickly and the packaging was secure, so the lotion wasn’t broken. When I turned the top to open it, I pumped a few times and smelled the lotion that came out. I wasn’t sure about the smell at first. No coconut scent at all and the lime smelt slightly off. I thought I needed a reset to the senses, so I took a milk bath. Then I came out and put the lotion all over my body. The smell is still off and I can’t place the scent. I rubbed the lotion in my skin and watched as my skin soaked it up, but it left an oily residue. After covering my body in hopes the cracks will calm down, I am sad to say that I am dry again and it’s only been a half hour. The packaging is on point and beautiful. The scent could be better- maybe try a glass bottle since that holds natural scents better. I doubt there’s anything to do about the moisture level for someone like me. So that’s the best advice I have. Very expensive for something I couldn’t really use. 😞
