Great so far. Quite bright too similar to a regular bulb with a dimmer. I've purchased 2 to sync and set timers on via the app and both worked flawlessly to date.For first use have the app installed/registered and have your wifi code to hand. Open the app and register your number and they send an sms code to you. Next turn socket on & off 3 times at normal "tick-tock" speed then after the third "tock" wait about 3-5 seconds and it'll start flashing then enter the wifi code & save it in the phone app ..that should be that. just swipe up from the bottom if the app loses the options menu off the screen. IT's a decent app too some good features like timer & grouping and it looks nice & clean.

Could not connect to wifi, tried everything on 2.4ghz as stated and the youtube video as well. Wasted a lot of time trying to connect, unless there is a specific problem with BT routers this is a useless item not worth buying. Item returned.

I don’t like this product any more because it has worked for about 1 month but not any more, I try to control it but it doesn’t work so I then disconnected it and so I could make it work again and I tried to connect it to the app again but it won’t connect, I’m really disappointed with this, if anyone knows any solutions please tell me. Thanks .

Took 3 or 4 attempts to link app to internet but once done it reacts instantly to my Alexa only have to sayAlexa lounge light on and it does it s8 awayWill be purchasing more soon

TerribleTwo bulbs. Both stopped working after eight weeks. Avoid

The media could not be loaded.  If you have an Amazon Echo device (dot or one of the larger echoes) then at some stage you'll want some smart home devices.This is a simple solution for lighting meaning you don't need hubs etc to run it.I found installation of this very easy but then I've installed several devices previously but just not a bulb.I did get a little stuck initially trying to pair it. There is a procedure you need to follow to put it into pairing mode.First power the bulb on for 10 seconds then off again. Then you need to turn the light on-off on-off then on again BUT you must make sure the bulb comes on before turning it of. On the final turn on you need to leave it for a few seconds to start blinking. At that stage you can continue with the process. Don't make my mistake of turning it on and off too quickly.Once installed and paired with the Alexa app (Guidance shown on my video) you can then control the bulb by voice.As well as simple turning on and off, you can set the brightness and colour by voice.A great little gadget and as you'll see from my video it has a fast reaction time as well. I'm delighted with it.

At full brightness the lamp is not very bright colours are dull. The Alexa control is limited and not much use, you cannot 'ask' it to cycle through the colours etc. 'On' or 'Off' and brightness level are the only functions available.......Not really worth the full price paid. Could have been so much better if the full range of effects were available through Alexa

Worthless. It only connects to 2.4Ghz Wifi. So after monkeying around in the router splitting my bands, the thing would never connect. However, setting up a different device also on 2.4Ghz worked flawlessly. I even moved my router extra close to this thing, still no luck. Would not recommend!
