Old Time String Band Music for Mandolin

Not what I thought it would be. I was looking for Philadelphia Style Mummer's "String Band" music.

I had imagined this would be a book of transcriptions, but it is in fact a collection of tunes (basic melodies) with an introduction that gives a few tips about "runs" and "turnarounds" and the like. Ok I suppose, but a lot of these tunes are easily available online so you're not getting a lot of unique material here, unless you count the CD which has some old recordings - though due to recording and tuning issues you'd be hard pressed to play along with any of them- in most you will struggle even to hear the mandolin.
