Bowling shoe upgrade
Was tired of tying my bowling shoes and didn’t want to get a new pair just for the BOA feature. These were easy install and have held up through a whole bowling season thus far.

Easy to install with very clear instructions in English
I had a pair of shoes year ago that came with this lacing system. I thought it was silly at first, but then I realized a couple weeks later that they were the ONLY pair of shoes I put on each morning. I can't find the type of shoes I like with this type of laces, so I got a new pair of my favorite shoes and gave this product a try. They work perfectly and were easy to put on/install.I don't know what the other reviews mean about having instructions only in Chinese. There was an excellent set of instructions in English that guided me every step of the way. These were a great deal and they work much better than the elastic laces or the pull through clamping type that leave that long extra lace hanging on the front of your shoe. If you give these a try, you'll love 'em!

Nice but not exactly reliable
The media could not be loaded. These are actually great to have if u hate dealing with shoe strings, the part that caused the 2 stars is the fact if the strings come out of the boa system its self u have to throw them away as theres no way to fix them and thats a huge downside for me, also the adhesive part that sticks to the tongue portion of ur shoes its pretty sticky but i dont think it will hold well without glue and they definitely dont stay on sued shoes they have to be a smooth clean surface type of shoe. So thoes 2 things are why i gave less stars.

Get it
This device is a fantastic alternative to traditional shoelaces. The setup takes a bit of effort, but the instructions make it straightforward. You start by removing your old laces, then weaving the included cord in a specific pattern to mount the device at the top of your shoe using a 3M adhesive strip. Trimming the cord to size was easy, and they give you extra length in case you want to switch shoes or make future adjustments.Once you’ve got the cord in place, you attach the ends into the metal barrels, burn the tips to keep them from fraying, and screw the barrels together. The tightening process is really simple—just push down the round knob and screw it clockwise while your foot is in the shoe. It lets you get a precise fit, and the cord doesn’t stretch, so it stays secure over time. When you’re ready to take your shoes off or make adjustments, you just lift the knob to release the tension. It’s quick, easy, and works perfectly. This system is super reliable, and it’s great to not have to worry about your laces coming loose. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a better way to lace up your shoes!

Not for boots
The laces included with these are way too short for my ankle boots. Does anyone know what the cable/shoelace is called and made out of? (High quality fine and soft highest strength fiber is pretty vague. I need the size, and material.) If I can get longer laces, I would be interested in rebuying these for my boots.

Easy assembly
I’m familiar with the boa style shoelaces so I was excited to get these for my ON shoes. I was concerned that installing them was going to be a challenge. I looked at YouTube vids etc. These boa’s reverse the lace so it connects with a threaded capsule. Made install very easy. Second shoe was a snap! Looks quality and very comfortable!

Easy to use after setup
I love these for my workboots. The setup was kindof nerve-wracking, lace is small elastic thread and took a bit of concentration to get through the eyelets with the right length for my boots. After they were setup, easy to secure and go.

I would pass, unless light use.
First pack I received was open a mess and missing pieces. The second set came in a nice box taped shut. The laces can be trimmed and shortened. They are easy to put together and work nice product. However one lace broke a week or two into using them. The other laces is still working fine, but doesn’t leave me wondering the longevity of them. For the price not a bad thing to try. I wore them with work boots, so maybe a simple walking shoe would be fine.Overall they are ok, but wouldn’t recommend as a buy.
