Classic Hatari Hunter Orange Upland Safari Waxer | Cotton Tin Cloth Game Hunting Vest

This vest is good quality and well made. It has good pocket space in the front (double pockets on either side), and a good size bag space in the back. It is a little big on me, even adjusted to it's smallest setting.As others have mentioned, it's just about on par with Filson, but actually has more pocket space in the front, and is a good amount less expensive.The Filson vest I have fits my frame much better, but the quality for this one is there as it seems pretty durable, and it has a good price point compared to similar style vests. I also like that the company mentioned that it gives back to veterans, so I decided to keep this one too.Attached are photos of the variation I chose (orange), because at the time of this writing, there weren't very many customer pics available, and the ones there were only had one of the two variations listed.

I purchased this vest for an impending quail hunt, in hopes that it would be an heirloom quality item I could use on future hunts and possibly pass down. I was not disappointed. The quality of material is superb. Much better than my Boyt vest that cost the same price. I out this on level with Filson, but better in the sense that there are features that make more sense. I appreciate the fact that the two front pockets have “double” pockets on the inside. This allows you to snap the orange flaps inside one of the pockets, leaving the other pocket open for quick and easy access to shells. The side adjustment straps really help hone in on sizing. I’m 6’ tall, and about 215 lbs. - it is very big on me, but I have adjusted it down perfectly to fit me with the use of the multiple adjustable straps. The leather is genuine and thick that’s used and the waxed canvas is a great thickness - I’m thinking 8 oz or more. Overall, I would 100% recommend this vest. It’s not cheap, but you won’t need to buy another one once you have this.
