Works perfect
It keeps the baby gate (dog gate) in place. My dogs like to jump at it and it will not budge anymore.

Works perfect for when you need to add a few inches to your gate!
We have a wide doorway from our formal living room into our kitchen/family room area, and our regular gate was just slightly too narrow, but our extra-wide gate was too wide. Using an extender on just one side was enough to make a nice secure connection, and the wide base of the extender seems to protect the wall better than the circular ends of the gate pins. Definitely happy with this purchase. Much cheaper than purchasing a new gate!
