Well, decent-ish. Even with all the sugar added to make it into a syrup, it's still way more tart than I usually like my fruit; having never had an actual elderberry before (just allegedly "elderberry" flavored medicinal stuff) I can't say whether it's that or the other ingredients but it's still an acquired taste.But it tastes so much better than conventional cough syrup. And with these ingredients it's more a food than a medicine so less risk of drug interactions... like the fact that so many cough syrups should not be taken with certain medications (even a certain alcohol-free "orange" flavored brand). While "talk to your doctor" is always the recommendation for anything with medicinal use, this product at least gives me options.As for effectiveness? Well, the cough syrup you can take is always going to be more effective than one you can't stand, but in any case this helped soothe an aching throat while I was trying to get over a cold. Probably the rough equivalent of drinking lemon and honey in a glass of warm water but in a more convenient size.Good expiration date, too. A three pack of bottles good until the middle of 2025. While I'm going to assume the open bottle falls under the "use within six months" rule that some other products do until I find out otherwise, that still leaves two bottles to use when the seasonal changes plague me.In fact my one complaint is the, to my limited knowledge, non-standard shape of the dosage cup. Most medicines we get that come with dosage cups OCCASIONALLY come in different sizes but they're always round and always stackable with each other. This rectangular one that doesn't even match the shape of the cap? Not so much. If you're like my family and you keep the dosage cups until they break, these ones will wind up costing more space than just replacing them will do.

Got this to try out. The ingredients are good so can't go wrong there. Seems to work at a mild level comparitively speaking. You get 3 bottles so that's a good deal i'd say. Natural ingredients.

It is a natural dietary supplement with one of my favorite ingredients, and that’s honey. In my opinion, it has that old-fashioned flavor and works as expected. You get three identical bottles in the package. Its individual cost per bottle is comparable with competitors.

I am not one to take traditional cough medicines when I'm sick. While they may work, I can't get over the awful flavor most of them have. I'm also a bit leery of the ingredients in traditional cough syrups as well. That's not really a concern with this cough syrup from Tukol. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the flavor. It is very fruity and doesn't really taste medicinal at all, which is quite nice. It is quite soothing as well and gives you a similar sensation to taking a spoonful of honey. All in all, I really like the flavor and natural ingredients and think it is a pretty decent value given the ingredients.
