The Story of the Titanic for Children: Astonishing little-known facts and details about the most famous ship in the world

My six year old son has an obsession with the Titanic and was thrilled when he received this book. It has lovely photos and drawings and is filled with many facts and lots of information in bite sized chunks.

Brilliant book

Absolutely wonderful book, I've run out of the amount of times my son and I have read it. It's really informative without going overboard on details, the pictures help explain things further and even I've managed to retain information that I never knew previously.

My 5 year old grandson expressed an interest in this ship. We were pleased at the factual content of the book, but pleased that it would not cause him distress. If we thought different we would not have given it to him.

Bought as a present for someone whose mad about the Titanic!! They loved it and even the age it was aimed at I learnt a couple new things. Great price and some lovely artwork

Excellent book

I read this book to 6 - 12 year olds and we all were all captivated by the story. The book tells every detail of the ship in a fascinating way, but the overarching theme is that the story of the Titanic is made up of thousands of stories from individual people. I had never been particularly interested in the Titanic before, but like so many other people, I now have an emotional link to it.

Lo regale a mi hijo de 7 años que le encanta el titanic , en su regalo de Navidad. No lee aun ingles pero le estuve traduciendo y le llamo mucho la atencion. Es entretenido y esta lleno de datos que no sabia. El contenido es basto y cubre muchisimos detalles desde antes de su construccion hasta las historias de sobrevivientes años despues y sobre las multiples peliculas, libros, etc que se hicieron de la tragedia. Les encantara a sus pequeños!!
