LidoCup Holder Mount for Uniden SDS100 BCD436HP with Locking face Plate

I have been a scanner enthusiasts for decades with my first being a Realistic 4 channel, crystal operated handheld to the latest being a Uniden SDS100. I have added and/or created all sorts of accessories including every carrying case and belt clip imaginable. The one thing I never had was a good way to mount a handheld in the car, UNTIL NOW !! This cup holder mounting rig is AWESOME!! NO ASSEMBLY!! It comes ready to use and works GREAT !! It is adjustable to fit most any cup holder and has 3 pivot points to adjust angle and position. It locks securely into the face plate and can only be released by the trigger at the bottom of the plate. It didn't take long to realize that you can even released and remove one handed with a little practice LOL !! It feels pretty sturdy but will review that after I have had it awhile. I just got it !! LOL !!Supplement: It has been over a week now and frankly, the only potential weak point I have found with this product would be the release trigger on the locking back plate (Yes, I broke mine lol). Not enough of an issue to change my 5 star rating however, because I know I am much harder on equipment than the average person. LOL

So the part where the radio slides into the clip feels like cheap plastic, but the thing works. Had it for months now, no issues. It's also very adjustable so I can set it up any way I want.

Although this seems to be a well designed unit it is made entirely of plastic. The mount clip is plastic and tends to break if you're not careful. If the clip would be metal I believe it would be well worth the price. Beware.

I tried the SDS100 cup holder mount in both my vehicles and it fit both of them. I like the adjustable angle and height as well.
