Looks like photo - very attractive. Great as a mouse pad.
So far, so good. It looks just like the photo, with rich polished wood slats. and a velvet-like backing. I wanted something that was both functional AND attractive. My main use will be as a mouse pad for those times I want to use my laptop while sitting in front of the TV. I don't do that often, but I might do it more now that I don't have the frustration of trying to use my mouse on the sofa pillow or on a lap tray that doesn't stay stable.Because this item folds flat, it would be easy enough to store when not in use, but because it does not detract from my beautiful new leather furniture, I will leave it there for a measure of extra convenience.

Just What I Needed
I didn't know how much I needed this until I got it! I actually use it over the back of my sofa rather than the arm and it fits securely with no sliding around due to the backing material. Likewise, the surface of the table portion is slightly "grippy" so items placed on it don't slip and slide, either. Nothing has fallen off yet, even when jostled. I bought this on a bit of a whim with fairly low expectations and am delighted I was so wrong.

Was great until it fell apart after 2 months
I don't really have a home office and so I sit in my recliner a lot to do work at home. I tended to have to put my mouse on the edge of my computer and it covered the number pad. This armrest table is awesome. It folds up small, is steady (you could put food or a drink on it) and it allows me to have great back support on my recliner while working on my computer. UPDATE: After 2 months (It was literally 2 months and a few days) this thing fell apart, which sucks because I can't return it at this point. It is a great idea in theory, but just didn't work. I don't move it a lot. I put it in the drawer next to my recliner and when I am needing it I put it on my recliner and when I am done, back in the drawer. It doesn't get any abuse at all. I have used it a total of 20 times. The glue that holds it together becomes unglued after 2 months. I suppose you could get Krazy glue and try to fix it every few months, but to me it's not worth all the effort. Unfortunately, I would not recommend buying this item. I really wanted it to work!!

Adhesive does not hold
I really want to like this table because it is just what I need, but the adhesive that holds the wooden table top and other wooden strips to the fabric backing simply will not hold. This started the first day I had the table. I'm going to try to fix it.

Up against a wall?
This is really a nice, artisan quality piece. I have a guest room with an IKEA convertible sofa that is flush against a wall on one side so it’s not possible to place an end table. This is the perfect spot to place a drink, phone, any items you want to keep in reach. It will also lay completely flat which comes in handy as well.

you can customize it to make it work for you
not very strong, finish is okay but the look of the side things hanging down is a bit weird. the side walls don't provide much stability versus just the top, so we pulled them off. The bottom is a fabric that helps prevent slipping, which is held on to the wood by a weak adhesive (think scotch tape).

Adjust to the armrests you have.
Exactly as described. Love that it fits all the chairs/sofas and can adjust to different sizes. Grips well enough... but don't rely on it if your armrests slope.
