It lights up, it lights down. You have all sorts of adjustment and combination options between the ceiling facing RGB and the down facing actual light. The fan is a small and sleek but can move a fair amount of air and unless you have it cranked to max is whisper quiet. This light was super easy to install and works great. We got it to replace a ceiling light in my son's bedroom in a hundred year old house we just bought. This has both a color-changing LED light and a bright main LED light. The main light can be dimmed and the color-changing LED can be set to different colors and modes (bit not dimmed).We were a bit worried that the small fan wouldn't move much air but we were pleasantly surprised by how much air this fan moves, it was pretty amazing. My son loves being able to change the LED colors via remote to give his room different looks.This is a very high quality light that is fun and functional. I would highly recommend!

Other lighted fans like this are only 1 direction, this has ability to reverse and that was primary reason for purchase.All the options for colors and phone app are not for me and will set n forget whatever the remote cannot change.But for now everything I need is on remote, not too noisy on lower settings, nice and bright for over bed and to get dressed, I like this lighted fan. I have some fancy light in kitchen too that you need an app to change colors then Alexa can turn on and off by command, this is similar, used the app to set a color and can turn on fan or light as needed from app. I just forget passwords to log into apps when have updates so for me set n forget...

This ceiling fan changes colors and very quiet. The remote works great from a short distance. Great value for your money.

Explanation….. I chose this light fixture to replace the 20 year old one in my kitchen. Going by the pictures of this , it looked like the center “bars” were a silver tone and the rest of it was white and clear plastic. The fixture I received is all white. The one in the picture looks a lot better than the cheaper looking all white one. I like that it was also a ceiling fan. The smaller size of it was what I wanted over the stove in my center island to help air circulation while cooking. I also like the color changing back light. I was looking forward to something different and fun. But I don’t think this all white fixture will look good in my kitchen. Nice looking light, but wasn’t what I thought I was getting. Pretty pricey for it too.

This is.such a cool little fan, my daughter absolutely loves it. The lights are bright and aren't overwhelming either. The multiple colors is really neat for a child's room. For small blades the fan is actually pretty powerful and keeps the airflow nice. It was very easy to install and the directions are pretty easy to understand. This is a must buy for the money and would definitely get another for another room in the house.

Quality is good with building material. Super easy to install but may need a little help holding it up to screw on. Very bright and vibrant colors.

Of the fans I have reviewed like this, this is the smallest at 18 in. But just like the others, this would be fine for small bedrooms etc. Adjust speeds and actually puts out a good amount of air considering the size. The light works well and it's brightness and color can all be adjusted. kind of more ideal for a kids bedroom, so they can tell Alexa 1000 times to change the color in an hour lol. It is light and very easy to install to an existing outlet in the ceiling.
