I use this to start my lawn boy mower and it works pretty well, occasionally it will switch direction but it's still far easier than the pull start...

I have looked for something like this for YEARS
I have looked for something like this for YEARS! Thank you! I have a bad back and we live off the grid so I have to start a generator almost every day. I cannot pull a rope to start it and this is the perfect way to use a cordless drill as an "electric start." I tried modifying handheld ratcheting screwdrivers but they couldn't handle the torque involved in the process. I would recommend this to everyone to, at least, get one and put it in your toolbox. You never know when it will be needed.

Amazing tool
This ratchet adapter is a life saver when you are working in the cylinder head of a Yamaha marine engine. I think that could be useful in any engine, the breaker bar alone is a nightmare.

Starting a old (1990's) Tecumsah 10 HP log splitter motor.
Should have gotten one of these LONG ago. Removed the Recoil. Motor started easily using a older corded Dewalt drill. Aha, don't use a cordless unless motor starts easily , right away. My Dewalt cordless smoked a little . LOL

Used on a 4x4 trucks front axle nuts without any problems
I used this with a 30 inch breaker bar to take take off the axle nuts on a 10 year old 4x4 pickup truck; I was rocking the entire truck back and forth and the nuts broke loose without this adapter suffering any damage(it still ratchets as smoothly as it did prior to taking the nuts off). The extra length this provided also meant I didn't need to use an extension either which was nice. It's been two years since then and I have used it multiple times to take off the lug nuts for maintenance work and when I get a flat(I keep it in the truck attached to a breaker bar) and I haven't had any problems with it.
