Beautiful instrument and very accurate
This dial indicator is going to be part of a project I am working on. Beautiful instrument and very accurate, arrived well within the advised time and I couldn't be more pleased.

Would not hold set zero.
At first sight this digital dial gauge seemed OK and good value for money. However, during preliminary tests it would not hold set zero and the reading frequently jumped from zero to 2.54mm. Totally unreliable as a precision measuring instrument.UPDATE - 26/05/2018I returned the first purchase for a refund (quickly actioned by Amazon). I later decided to re-order and the second dial gauge is working perfectly. Readings are consistently repeatable and correspond accurately to readings taken on a high quality analog gauge. I have upped my star rating from 2 to 4, could have been 5 stars if I didn't have the inconvenience of return and re-order. Perhaps the manufacturer quality control should be tightened.
