Very substandard manufacturing process with no discernable craftsmanship whatsoever. One of these had been assembled incorrectly so the magnets were the wrong way round and I had to use blu-tac to keep it from collapsing every time I moved it. Then, just a couple of weeks later, (and with very light usage) the wooden strut keeping it at the highest level of adjustment snapped off. It's now more super-glue and blu-tac than bamboo. In short, a good idea let down by an incredibly poor quality assembly and manufacturing process. At nearly £45, I didn't feel it was value for money at all. UPDATE: The seller replaced this item with a far superior version and in doing so, has rectified the original manufacturing faults with a superb but, sadly, far too rare level of customer service excellence. I am very grateful to Merlin at Relaxx and now extremely pleased to be able to highly recommend this product.

These stools serve their purpose and don't look ugly, and fold away so don't take up lots of room. Unfortunately one of them had a faulty hinge, where the metal hinge just fell out of the wood it was meant to be screwed into. The rubber feet also split within a couple of weeks (they can be replaced, but I'd expect them to last longer than that!) So a potentially very good product, but at the relatively high price I expected a higher quality product that didn't fall apart so soon.

THESE HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE. My IBS a/m means that I have an awful stomach that leaves me running to a toilet, but which I cannot relieve without a squatty potty. Cue a portable squatty potty that is sleek, lightweight, and discreet. I keep them in my handbag (in a plastic bag, mind. I know that seems mad) and it has saved meant a time at work and on long day trips. So so thankful for these and would highly recommend. They are great quality and, although a little expensive, extremely well Made and stable, with magnetic indents to ensure they don't move when in use. 100% worth the money.

I like that the height is adjustable. However, it is not very sturdy and would often collapse while I was using it. After 6 months of use, one of the stools broke - the wood attachment detached and so now I have to use one in the horizontal position. Not ideal! I would not recommend this product.

Brilliant product! Beautifully designed. Well made to last. Looks very stylish in the loo! Folds away compactly and even though in sight, makes a handsome discreet addition to the furniture. Fantastic that the items can be assembled at a choice of three heights and are therefore suitable for all the family. Worth the expense.

Flimsy, fingers can get caught in the cross mechanism very very easily. Each time you need it you have to take time to to set this up. Extortionate for 3 pieces of weed screwed together! I ordered this for two reasons: I actually wanted two footstools (one for the downstairs toilet as well as the bathroom) and I wanted one that could be neatly stored. This product did not disappoint. Not only did it arrive beautifully packed, but each individual unit worked by itself if you placed it horizontally and don’t have really big feet! They fold easily. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I have used the Squatty Potty for years, for one simple reason: it works! After years of using probiotics, laxatives, I found that the toilet stool is what I needed. Of course we need to squat, we’ve been doing it for years! However, the Squatty Potty left me wanting more: it is bulky, one size, and somehow always in the way. Then I found the Relaxx, the pictures looked great, and though I wasn’t sure about the quality and strength, I decided to try it… My first impression of the product took all my doubts away. It is very sturdy, feels like it can carry 200kg and looks even better than the pictures. What I love most is that it easy to store and set up - see the video - , and can be adjusted to four different heights. This is very useful since my girlfriend is 30cm shorter than I am, so we can both use it optimally. If you are in doubt, just order! You will not be disappointed.
