is this a "stiff" snake that doesnt kink or bend easy?.....bought a klein it was terrible!

Not stiff at all! Bends south less than 2'. I begins to sag followed by coiling on its own. I now have to try again with a 1/4" thick tape. Im trying to max shoot for 20'.

Does the 25 foot one have a hook at the end ? Hot do you attached it to the piece you’re pulling

Yes it has a hook. If your pulling wire you use black electrical tape to wrap it.

Is the 25' version suitable for fishing wires through walls & ceilings? (Not running in conduit)

Sure. As long as you are above top stud and dropping to device in wall. Not so easy to go between studs along wall. Your request is rather devoid of information to cover all scenarios.

Can this go through insulation?

Sure. The bent “head” is about 1/4” across, with smooth tip and loop to attach wire or string.
