Alright, so I got myself a Cast Iron Tortilla Press, and I've gotta say, it's a game-changer for taco nights at home. It's heavy-duty, feels super sturdy, like it's built to last. Using it is a breeze—just place the dough, press, and bam, perfectly thin and round tortillas ready for cooking.What I love most is the way it cooks the tortillas evenly, giving them that authentic homemade taste. Plus, it's easy to clean, which is a huge bonus in my book. The only downside might be its weight; it's pretty hefty, but that also adds to its durability. Overall, if you're into making your own tortillas, this press is a must-have. It elevates taco night to a whole new level of deliciousness!

I really like this heavy duty press, it was easy to assemble and use. Takes a few tries to get your pressure right for what thickness you want. I have also used to make hamburger and sausage patties. Works well. Be sure to use plastic and /or wax paper between the cast iron and product very very easy clean up.

Excellent customer service made this 5 stars instead of 4. My product broke outside of the return window (~90 days after purchase) and I sent a picture/email to the company. Two days later, TWO DAYS LATER, I had a new one at my door. This is how I do business and how I expect to be treated, so kudos to Uno Casa for the great customer service!The Pros:- Easy to assemble and use- Pre-seasoned and ready to go- Quickly makes nice looking tortillas- 100 pcs parchment paper are very handy- Great customer service- Great priceThe Cons:- Doesn't get the tortillas as thin as I would like, but I make up for it with thinner dough.- Could be a little sturdier, broke after 3 months use. (I may have pressed too hard though)The bottom line: This product is as advertised and does a great job making tortillas, especially for the price.

I just received this press today and of course I immediately had to make a batch of tortillas. It makes round corn tortillas, although not quite as large as I had hoped. I will adjust my recipe next time, maybe add a little more water to get a more pliant dough. That said, the press did a good job, turning out tortillas of a uniform thickness. But it has one annoying problem... the lid does not stay open on its own, you have to hold it open. That would be find if I had three hands, but, alas, I am not so equipped. So that means that after you have flattened a tortilla you have to hold the lid open while you remove the tortilla from the press and either set the lid down or try to set the next ball of dough in place. Just very awkward.I gave this thing a 4 for sturdiness because I am a little suspicious about the strength of the handle. This may turn out to just be nervousness on my part, but the handle seems to bend a little when you're pressing. I'll post an update after I've made a number of batches and let you know what I've discovered.

No more stale, broken tortillas from the store! Easy to use to make your own fresh tortillas !!

Easy to use and clean

The first one we got the hinge pin broke after 2nd time using it. Contacted Seller to possibly get a replacement piece. Was told to contact Amazon to get a replacement. Replacement comes in and the same piece that broke was completely missing off the new one. That not even getting into the fact everytime you press it metal shaving scrap onto your parchment paper into your tortilla.

Probably the best purchase I have made for my kitchen! Super sturdy and really well made. Love, love, love it! Would recommend the cast iron versus some of the other ones I've seen.

Very sturdy and seasoned cast iron. You can make various thicknesses of wraps/tortillas simply by how much pressure you place on the handle. To overcome the unevenness, rotate the wrap 180 degrees and gently press a second time.Very useful and the pan is definitely a bonus!

This was our first tortilla press and we could not be happier with it. We use it at least once per week and so far it is doing everything as expected definite purchase recommendation
