This is a awesome tool! I needed something to mash up my cat wet food (pate isn't always available) since she needs easy digestion. I had been using a fork but the pieces are often tough and fork mashing them properly is hard on my arthritic hands. I chose this tool as it is small enough to fit inside the cat-food bowl and looked like a good prospect. It works beautifully. The rounded bottom means I don't have to push down hard, mostly I rock it back and forth and keep going around the bowm until I have the right consistency. It cleans up very easily and stores comfortably in a silverware drawer. This tool is very well made and sturdy so I expect to get a lot of use from it.

A very high quality kitchen utensil that does exactly as what it is described. Excellent for avocados and making guacamole but can also be used potatoes and other mashing duties although a little bit small for such applications.

This is a marvelous instrument! I must admit I bought it to further shred my cats' Friskies Shreds (so thy would eat it all and not just lick the gravy!) and it it so very easy to use. there is a 45 degree angle where the masher plate connects to the handle which allows for excellent and easy torque. It is strong and a great masher. I actually used it the other day to mash avocados! Love it!

Such a handy little tool - we use it for many things, and none of them are avocados! It cleans easily and has stood up to very vigorous mashing endeavors, such as smashing hard pills to mix into cat food.

These are perfect for using to make egg salad.

It takes up so little space in my utensils drawer - is very strong - and does an excellent job of mashing cooked potatoes, avocado or for young mums wanting to mash up veg for their babies.. This little fella is one of the best kitchen tools ever! We are only two at home now, and this little guy mashes everything from avocados and eggs to canned tomatoes to break them up in a soup or a sauce, and even individual sweet potatoes etc. It’s sturdy AND it’s adorable! Kinda like me. Lololol!
