Apart from making a heck of a mess(!), I think this product was great and my 3 year old has been carrying her 'precious crystal' around with her for weeks. True about the marketing though, you only get ONE box per order, not the 9 or so the photos would have you believe

Good fun for boys
Expensive for what it is but my son loves the process of getting the stone out of the brick. Keeps him busy for 10 minutes.

Total waste of money
I was expecting something more impressive for £10... My son spent all of 3 minutes "digging" into a block of sand to find a tiny piece of rubble that looked like it was picked up off the road. Never buying anything from this brand again.

Stocking filler
This is a great little stocking filler that my daughter loved. To be honest once you’ve ‘mined’ the block there is little else to do but it entertained my daughter on and off for several days so worth it.
