Easy set up and interface
I have 5 of these cameras now around my property for security and peace of mind. The images whether night or day are perfectly acceptable and very clear considering the price of these cameras. They can be set up to either record continuously or they can record when motion is detected (this is what I use and sensitivity and detection areas can be set up, as can privacy areas in case your image contains others properties).Set up is relatively easy as long as you have a little knowledge and can be done on tablet or phone. The app interface is very clear and easy to navigate.I use these cameras as WiFi cameras so they need a WiFi signal to access on the app so they will only be as good as your WiFi network. But, as long as they have signal, then you can access them anywhere in the World as long as you have mobile service.Remember to buy a memory card to insert into each camera then you don't even have to pay any monthly fees etc.Cheap and reliable way into a well made CCTV system.

Best budget camera with great specs
So have been doing some research with regards to CCTV cameras to replace a system I already had in place. The Ezviz ticked all the boxes, it is not too pricey, has good feature good image quality, an optional light and sound alarm (doesn't really scares cats), a decent zoom capability and a very well supported app. To bring up the camera footage on the app it is really quick compared to my previous app, the image is clear and the features are good. It also offers two ways of footage storage, with SD card (an 128GB will store about 2 weeks of continuous recording) and still has the option for the cloud storage, a bit pricey in my opinion, but worth it to store the alerts in case the worst happens. The alarm notification is spot on and offer a good preview of what triggered the alarm so that you can chose to playback the footage or not.The camera set up has been really easy via the mobile app.The only minor issue is the integration with Google home hub, the set up is not difficult, once the camera is added to the Ezviz app you just need to add the device via the Google home app, by allowing Ezviz app to be linked, note that if you add more cameras you will have to unlink and re link to the Google app, the issue I was mentioning is related to the stream on the hub, to note there is a 15 seconds delay from what you see on the screen to what you will see on your hub, so it is not live live, the other issue is that the camera does not always how first time and a black screen is displayed, with that in mind this is still a much better option than a Nest Cam, mush more expensive and with only a storage solution available. An advice for Google Home Hub connection is to have the Audio on the camera set to on, the video encryption switched off and I've noticed that on my router having the AP mode turned off allowed for the stream on the Hub to be more consistent. In all I would recommend this product and I hope it will serve me for a few years to come.

Good budget camera
Note to the developer/makers..... please update the camera firmware for the model - CTQ3W... to only go off when it detects a human ... currently i have 99 noftications ..altering me to wind & rain "I had been looking to get a CCTV for while and my head was a bit spinning looking into all of them and most where out of my price range. Then I saw Paul hibbert review the higher model of this camera on his YouTube channel it was a bit out of my budget , so I got the next best thing which was this one .It was breeze to set up just encase of downloading the appCreating an account & then pairing by scanning the QR codeOn the cameraIt does also take a memory card I currently have a sandisk A1 microsd card in mine at first it didn't pick it up - but turning the camera off and on again solved this *I then got the option to format it and its recording & showing the videos in the app*I was a bit worried when I went to download the app - & then saw that it was getting review bombed for not recording anymore only when there was motion detected but recording all the time - thankfully once I mounted the camera and it came up on the app that there was firmware up to V5.2.0.1 and this has solved thisI'm still trying to get the sensitivity right however it seems to go off at what looks like nothing when I look at the video after getting the notification at the momentIt was also a bit of a pain to fit as I have harling chip walls , so it required a heavy drill and masonry drill bit but once I got all the nesscary equipment it was simple after watching their YouTube video. The video quality is really good , you can easily see clear faces even in the darkness & the light flashes as well when it detects motion -it also has an noise which can off when this happens as well - however I had to turn it off as its quiet loud and I didn't want it disturbing my neighbourPoint to note It also an alexa skill which no longer works as the live view function has been taken away so you can no longer ask alexa to view your camera feed on your echo show devices or firestick and you can no longer set up a routine for the feed to show on your firestick when motion is detected which is really disappointing and something I wish I had known before I bought the camera. If you have something like an nivida shield for example , you can set it up where the feed will appear of your TV -paul hibbert has a handy video. All In all I'm happy with my purchase and it's giving me peace of mind and you can't put a price on that . But I I have only given three stars as due to the alexa skill issue. If it changes I shall update the review
