Good quality, smooth and lasts forever
I always love Rico reeds because they're easy to play on and are really smooth, it's my favorite brand by far and they're very high quality, I'd recommend them for beginners and intermediate players, though I can't give an opinion for professional or advanced players. They also last a long time compared to many other reeds I've used and I like using them across all the reed instruments I play. I especially love them for my bass clarinet, they sound wonderful and really enhance my instruments.

Trust Rico
No need to comparison shop. Rico reeds do not disappoint. Other brands pale in comparison to the sound quality and durability of these reeds. My son plays the bass clarinet and this is his preferred reed of choice. Don’t waste your time and money on other brands; simply buy Rico.

Music teacher recommended
These reeds are recommended by my kids music teacher. They work fine. I am not sure what to look for as I never played any instruments or we never used other brands.

Very resonable price.
I ordered a bigger quanity. I think makes it a better deal.

Good for a doubler.
I am primarily a clarinetist and Bass Clarinet is a "double" for me. I spend a lot of time and energy on my soprano clarinet reeds but as little as I have to play bass I'd rather not spend that kind of time on Bass Clarinet reeds. These are consistent enough to play with little or now adjustment and they are inexpensive.

My daughter only plays Rico now!
Standard for all my reviews: When reviewing products, I always remain objective and honest about the product or service. I always review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I'm writing will influence for or against the purchase. I always try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I will always end the review with an answer as to whether I'd purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know!My daughter is 17 and has been playing the bass clarinet for about 5 years now. She also plays the piano but her bass is her favorite instrument. After trying other reeds, she really prefers these Rico 3s. The hardness of the reed is perfect for her and the quality has been consistent. She gets more life out of them over some of the other recognized brands. We don't ask questions anymore as to why, she doesn't want to take the chance. They aren't cheap but if you watch the prices, you can get a nice discount from time to time.

Very good reeds
I play regular Bb clarinet and Bass clarinet and I wouldn't ever use another brand of reeds. Never had any problems with ANY of my Rico reeds. Ive purchased everything from a 2 all the way to a 4 for Bb clarinet (all Rico's of course) so when I started bass clarinet Rico's were the obvious choice. Great sound, minimal waste from the packaging, all around awesome. Definetley reccomend for any woodwind players!!!
