I read reviews, I also bought a shoe stretcher my right toe was bumping a little. Perfect shoes!!! love the look.

I usually wear vionic shoes, but they don’t always have the look I’m seeking. I’ve heard Taos give the same level of support so I gave them a shot. The fit is equally as supportive as vionic so no concerns there. They are comfy and required no break in period. The material is very good and they look to be durable. My only complaint is the zipper. I wanted a zipper to make it quick to put them on and go. But it is awkward to zip on the outside of the shoe, as the zipper can get stuck sometimes on socks. I would prefer the zip on the instep side of the shoes as it is easier to bend my leg up to my other knee to reach and adjust it. Not sure why they choose that side, as I’ve see others of theirs with the inside zip. I’ll definitely add the to my shoe shopping list, but will look more closely at the design next time.

They took awhile to break into. At first, they were very uncomfortable. Now that I've worn them for work for a few months, they feel better on my feet, but are quickly lowering in quality. I do not wear them everyday as I only have to wear leather shoes for specific parts of my job, so they should not be as worn as they are.

i wore the shoes to Yellowstone park. the left little toe was squeezed a bit (but no blister.) comfortable for walking, it's very light. my normal shoes size is 7, after i read all the review i bought 7.5, i think 7 would work because it stretches after wearing for a trip. however, half size bigger wouldn't make difference for this kind of shoes. you always safe to order a half size up. it's easy to put on off

They are beautiful and just look high quality. I wanted to love them but they were also extremely uncomfortable. Tight on the toes with zero give, high arch support, but otherwise felt like standing on concrete. So sad.

I’ll start with the positive: the leather is of a high quality and good color (I ordered the tan/brown). They run about half a size smaller. This wouldn’t be a problem and I’d readily exchange for a larger size. However, there is a fundamental anatomical issue with these shoes: the curvature of the toe box is such that it causes your large toe to unnaturally bend towards the other toes. Also, the toe box is very shallow and it smashes your toes from above, or atop. I have pretty standard feet and have never run into a similar issue before. Thirdly, I should have paid attention to another reviewer who wrote that the shoes were very hard and uncomfortable. This is supposed to be a comfy shoe to spend time on your feet or walking. The outer sole is very inflexible like walking with clogs, the midsole also feels like a plank, and the orthotic insert is no better. I really wanted to keep these shoes as I loved the color and style and even got some gel insoles. It didn’t alleviate the issue. If you’ll just sit in them and not move much, they’ll be ok I guess.

These high top sneakers are worth every penny. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and the arch support is great in these shoes. The inner lining of the footbed is canvas and feels firm, not a lot of up-front-cushion-feel. They provide great support though and I can wear these all day all night without sore feet. The shoe outer and inner portion of the ankle support is super high quality soft leather. So no pinching on your ankles! The zipper works slick for getting on and off without the struggle of laces. I love that the laces can be adjusted so that you can customize the tightness. The tread is a quality rubber material and provides the perfect amount of grip. I broke these shoes in at the Sturgis rally this year and they were great for long days of riding. Now I can’t get them off my feet because they are so comfortable! I have received many compliments on these shoes and highly recommend the investment in your foot wardrobe.

Wearing this shoe everyday with jeans or black pants. Goes good with most everything. I bought for a trip to Italy and they took a beating with lots of walking. Hard for me to unzip them being on outer side of shoe but are very cute, comfortable and looks stylish.
