Works really well. Top part is removable for easy cleaning. We have a cross bar very high up in our shower/bath so the ordinary TubShroom doesn't fit into the drain; this sits on top of the drain and catches 99.9% of all the hairs. Love it. Worth every penny.

My kids are not good about catching their hair before it goes down the tub drain ... resulting in complaints about clogs and me having to snake out hair balls all too frequently. Our tubs have the push-to-close stoppers that are too large in diameter for conventional hair catchers. We tried a different drain cover that caught hair but impeded the water flow. This ShowerShroom was the solution. You'd hardly notice it was there until you pick it up and find all the hair it collected! The only caveat is the hair is difficult to remove when it is wet. You have to leave to dry out (not a pretty sight) before you can clean it.

Previously bought a hair catcher but when the sides collected hair (even when it was clean before shower), the water wouldn't drain since holes were on the sides only. Dumb design.This drains on the sides & on the top!! You can "shed" & still finish your shower without standing in inches of water! Easy to clean! I really like this. You can use finger or tissue to clean hair that is in catcher. Probably should clean weekly for best results.Seems to be a harder plastic instead of the rubber my previous one was, so I think this will be more mold-resitant too. 4 stars because I believe there is always room for improvement.

I like very much that this does its job. It catches the hair! But when I went to clean it out, it was not a simple 'wipe' as the video suggested. The little rubber bumps (which I might add, helps this do its job of catching hair so well) hold the hair and you have to really work to get it out of the shroom. After a while I gave up and just settled for taking out 80% of the hair.
