White Horizon Camera Demon Universal Helmet Camera Mount

I bought an 'action camera' for a ski holiday but the attachments that came with it were not suitable for my ski helmet. As time was running out I purchased the demon mount and was delighted that I did as it is so secure I can't imagine anything dislodging it from the helmet.I was extra impressed as due to the particular curvature of my ski helmet, I had to mount the demon partially over a vent. Given that not all of the demon base is in contact with the helmet surface, it is even more impressive that it is fixed so securely.

I bought this to mount an SJ1000 camera to a skiing helmet and it worked perfectly. The mounting is solid and well made and the curve is correct for mounting onto a helmet.The only reason I give it 4 is on price - it seamed a bit high - but I cannot complain about the quality or functionality of the item.

I have been looking for something like this for ages! I can now fit my Canon Ixus safely and use it whilst boat fishing white waters during my Canadian holiday when previously life was at risk (mine) when trying to do two things at the same time - fish and film. This reduces the price that I would have had to pay for a specialist and expensive action camera. Be careful when locating the stick- on pad to the helmet. I used the Mazzif Kayak helmet from Amazon. Once on it is difficult to remove ( it can be done with heat and leverage as per instructions) and choosing the exact spot is difficult until the camera video or still is actually taken. If, as I did, the wrong position is chosen, then 3M 2 sided acrylic foam tape from Amazon can replace what is provided - you just need two strips of it.

Good value for money, the tightening knob could do with some improvement. Otherwise would recommend this item. Am a happy user.

Well made product, good quality plastic with easy adjustment. Ideal for using a compact camera as a helmet cam. 4 stars because product is however pricey for what it is.

It will only fit helmets like the one in the picture. For mine ( a more vented helmet with a different shape) I had to devise a contraption with velcro to hold it on. This is not stated in the marketing, but is kinda obvious from the pictures, in retrospect.Not top quality but quite good. the camera is secure and it gets the job done.

La fixation est simple, costeau et tient bien sur le casque. Bon compromis pour faire des premiers pas dans la vidéo de ses activités avec un iphone dans sa coque étanche ou un apareil photo compacte. Très bon rapport qualité/ prix.

Es un producto muy simple pero a la vez efectivo. Lo he probado en casco de motocicleta a velocidades altas y no se mueve. Lo que sí se nota es la cámara y todo lo relacionado con la aerodinámica.

Ich habe einen UVEX Helm Hypersonic. Die Helmhalterung liegt nicht wie in der Beschreibung gefordert ganz flächig an. Sie hält aber trotzdem. Ich habe darauf eine HD 720P touch aktion cam, also ein etwas schwereres Modell. Die Helmhalterung hat bis jetzt gehalten, auch Sprünge und Stürze hat Sie überlebt. - Also kann ich empfehlen. Ich habe noch nicht versucht das Klebepatt mit einem Fön abzulösen. - wozu auch. Das Klebepatt dürfte von 3M sein, ist also relativ leicht nachzubestellen.
