I think this is one of the most beautiful puzzles I’ve ever done. The colors are so vibrant, and the quality of the puzzle itself is outstanding. Looks even prettier in person.

This puzzle allows your imagination to take you to a far-away place. Beautifully crafted, fun puzzle but perhaps a bit spendy. Overall I/we just love it.

I ordered this for a date night activity for my partner and I, who are both fairly advanced puzzlers. This is a pretty standard ribbon-cut puzzle with no included pieces to give false edges, but at 1000 pieces, it's still going to take most people a while to assemble. The poster's original matte edge makes the edge pieces easy to locate, but not as easy to assemble as some because of them all being the same beige color. There's a subtle gradient in the sky and water which does help to piece those sections, and the bright houses and tulips help to make it easy to work by sections for those as well. It took the two of us about 5 hours total to do this one.Once finished, the image is bright and makes for a gorgeous travel poster aesthetic when glued and framed; the merchant houses and canals and tulips are classic tourist Amsterdam, making it a very attractive image for a home office or library, or for over the desk of a student who wants to study there.The cardboard backing is sturdy, though not as tightly locking as some others, so it's well worth using a puzzle mat to flip it and adhering some contact paper to the back once it's completed if you want to frame it. Overall, it's a pretty nice puzzle, and mid-upper range on prices for its size.

I love to do jigsaw puzzles and have quite a few of them from lots of different manufacturers. I don’t keep mine assembled… I disassemble them when done so I can put them together over and over again over the years.This is the second puzzle I’ve gotten from this company that both belong to a matched series of different travel destinations. This one is the Amsterdam puzzle and it’s just beautiful. The artwork on them is super nice, especially the included travel posters that you could actually frame and use as wall art… they are that nice-looking. (I also have the Santorini one, shown in the second photo.)The overall initial impression of this puzzle is really good—excellent quality and well-thought out artwork for a series. Nice sturdy box that will last over time, absolutely gorgeous print on both on the box cover and the included poster, and puzzle pieces with a nice weight. 1000 piece puzzles are my favorite… plenty of complexity. The artwork on this one will be challenging but not too much… lots of variety in the color and pattern.Personally, I like the more matte finish of these puzzle pieces over another one I just got with very shiny pieces, but I know the matte finish tends to wear off over time so we’ll see how this one lasts.Best part about this puzzle is that it’s made in the USA. I love supporting home-grown business and will look into getting other puzzles from this company, especially these travel-themed ones. They remind me of the many places I’ve been in my life and it’s fun to revisit those old memories.
