This high-quality antistatic mat is an indispensable accessory for all those who work with electrical circuits at work or leisure. The 0.37 mm thick mat provides a surface resistance of 100 Megaohm up to 10 Gigaohm per square meter. Thus, you can be sure that your electrical components are not destroyed by short circuits. The antistatic cuff for your wrist is included in the set. It is connected to one of the two press studs of the antistatic mat by the enclosed cable and thus ensures that the electrostatic charge of your body can be dissipated via the earth cable connected to the mat without causing damage to your components due to unintended discharges. The 1 megohm resistor integrated into the grounding line ensures that any charges are discharged evenly and not suddenly, thus avoiding sparking. A second push button can also be used to connect the wrist cuff to the left or right arm. This makes it possible for left-handers to work without barriers. It is also possible to connect a further, optionally available wrist cuff, so that two persons can simultaneously work on the mat. The two integrated pockets allow you to store frequently used tools or components and screws conveniently. Everything important is thereby available at all times.
