GoSports Dry Erase Coaches Board with 2 Dry Erase Pens

Bought for baseball, read reviews about not using the red marker so I didn’t even try it. Black marker works perfect and erases well solid plastic

Do not use the red pen. Red marks and scratches in the photo were not there when I got the board. Just got this out of the box, tried the red pen and it did not erase fully. I used that pen’s eraser, which is harsh for the board’s surface and causes scratches unless used very lightly. Tried a wet paper towel, dry-erase cleaner, plus two softer erasers I already had and those got some of the red but not all of it. Also tried a separate red pen from markers I already had and the softer erasers worked on that one. I was able to erase the black pen that came with the board no issues, but again the eraser on that pen scratches the board easily. So get some different pens with soft erasers.This is only for basic use and sports equipment is bound to get dinged up so I’m going to keep and use the board. Also worth noting that there were other scratches on the board when I got it besides the ones I made. I don’t think any of the issues I wrote about above will affect performance, just wanted to provide my experience.Pros are a sharp design, plenty of space for lineups and defense, clip to attach it to a link fence or elsewhere.Will update review if anything else comes up after more use.

Dry erase board is sturdy and has a great design to show full and half field plays by utilizing both sides. The lids of the dry erase markers fell off constantly. Not a huge deal because I could use different dry erase markers but I gave 4 stars because it would have been nice because the markers that came with ha lids had a clip to attach to the clip board but didn’t work out.

These were worth the money! They are well made and last after I throw them to the ground when my kids are not following the plays I draw up. The markers could be stepped up since they are very important part of using this item. Just be prepared to buy good dry erase markers.

Great board but there are a few things not up to par. The board came bent slightly in the mail. The markers that come with it are cr*p. But I had plenty of my own so that wasn't a big deal to me. Biggest issue was that it didn't come with a carabiner. Which to me was the entire reason I bought it was to clip it on the backstop. So I had to then go and buy my own. Otherwise the product was good for basic usage.

This has been a great tool to use with our little league team. I want to give it 5 stars but after a few uses it does not clean off very well and the markers wear out fairly quickly. It’s rigid and has all the space I need, just wish it cleaned up better.

I have a few clipboards for coaching my U11 soccer team. 6 different boards I’ve owned to date. Only 3 of those 6 were still in use. Each has its own purpose. One I have applied Velcro tape in our teams formation and I have laminated player names that I can easily move to positions or onto a substitution section. I plan on doing that to the side of this board that has the player lineup and I’ll give the old board to my Assistant Coach. This dry erase board will become my all purpose board. Replacing all but one of the other boards.The only reason I’ll keep one other board I have, is because magnets will stick to that older board. This board unfortunately is not metal so I can’t use my magnets to illustrate plays in motion. I don’t use he magnets very often but I like the option of moving the pieces so the younger kids can see how a play unfolds. I knew that this board wouldn’t work with magnets when I purchased it, so I’m not letting that impact my rating, but it will show up in the “Cons” list. If it had that feature it would literally be the only board I’d ever need!This is the largest and so far the most sturdy board I’ve ever owned. It comes with black and red dry erase markers with erasing pads on the caps. They are larger than the markers that come with most other boards I’ve purchased so they should last longer. They also have fine point tips, which none of my others have. The fine point makes it much easier to draw patterns and illustrate plays on the board. I’m very OCD about my drawings and those fat tip markers drive me crazy!Pros:-Sturdiest board I’ve used so far-One side for illustrating full field plays-One side for players and lineups (I will add the Velcro strips and laminated player names because it’s very easy to accidentally wipe off names on the lineup side, but that’s true with any dry erase clipboard. This is just a personal upgrade that my Team Manager created for me this season and now I can’t live without it)-Black and red fine point dry erase markers with eraser caps. Stress the FINE POINT! :) :) :)-Strong spring clip on one side-Plenty of spots for player names and substitutions-Looks great and very sporty IMO. I’m a sucker for cool looking things.-Rugged enough to throw in my soccer bag and not worry about it breaking-Price is great for quality and functionalityCons:-Can’t use magnets on this boardThat’s honestly the only “Con” that I can think of.If you are a coach then you know that finding quality gear and equipment can be an expensive journey of trial and error. That’s why I live on consumer reviews anytime I’m spending my hard earned money on myself, my children, or my teams. I also try to provide as many reviews as possible to repay the favor.I would highly recommend this board for all soccer coaches. Especially when coaching children, who need that visual illustration.

We love that we can hang it in the dugout and everyone knows where they are playing and when they are up. You can even keep the score there so that everyone is updated. Only down side is that the colour of the marker used leaves staining after you dry wipe off. And make sure you wipe it off at end of day or it is much harder to wipe clean.
