This gets 5 stars for the following:-very responsive customer service-good quality material at reasonable price-we like the switch out velcro patches, easy and good quality-quick prime shipmentWhen I purchased this, the large was listed as 25"- 29", my dogs are slightly over 25" and 27" girth, so I ordered the large for both. When it came, it was too big for both of my dogs. I notified the company that it was improperly listed and they promptly let us switch one out (I'm sure we could have switched both, but I didn't know what the small was like yet) and updated the listing. After receiving the small, I'm going to say that one should also be more like 23"-29" girth. The smaller one fits well on both of my dogs. The large one moves around a whole lot on both of them and doesn't look very professional. I'd say if you have a particularly small dog, search elsewhere. The smaller size would be good for most mid-size dogs.I took some photos of our dog's girth and both the large and small vests. The picture of the large with the tape measure is at its smallest, while the small is at its largest. The border collie in the photo is wearing the small size.

After measuring the girth of my dog's chest at almost exactly 17 inches, I originally purchased the 17-21. The product came very quickly and was overall very satisfied by the design and to finally bring my dog out in public, but it was HUGE on her. Even tightened all the way it was hanging off.Fortunately, the company had no problems sending me a smaller size. They replied within a day after I emailed them and I had the 15-16 inch vest just a few days after and it fits her perfectly! She doesn't seem bothered or annoyed by it either. The only con to this product is it occasionally shifts to the left or right while walking (as shown in the last picture attached), but it's not that big of a deal, especially for the price.I have attached a picture of the vests, as you can see the 17-21 vest is significantly bigger than the 15-16 vest. So you may want to keep that in mind when purchasing and maybe go with the smaller size.

Generally, an acceptable lightweight vest that signifies the animal's status, but sizing is confusing. My dog measured 18" girth, according to their measuring instructions, but he weighs 13.5 pounds and has soft, thin fur. I ordered the 17-21" vest. It overall was too large and fit too loosely. The rear, buckling straps were located close to the back end, so they interfered with his underside, insteading of buckling closer to his chest/abdomen to provide stability. Could not use the D-ring for leash because of loose fit of vest. If your dog is of small stature, consider going down a size, especially if it falls closer to the bottom range of girth measurement. See photos: #1 is smallest size. #2 is 17"-21" after I moved the rear straps more to the center of the vest.UPDATE: Customer service and satisfaction for this vendor was excellent! After contacting the vendor about the sizing problem, they were quick to respond by email. I was offered the choice of a refund or a vest in the next smaller size. I chose the replacement vest. It arrived quickly and was a much better proportional size for my dog, being much shorter in length down his back and less obtrusive and bothersome for him. The underside buckle still sits back a ways on his belly (closer to under his ribs), because the straps are still sewn on to the vest angling toward the back. The vest still has a tendency to slide around a bit on his fur as he walks, so we won't be able to use the D-ring. But overall, it will serve its purpose in a much more comfortable way for my dog.

I ordered these vests for my two ESA dogs for our travel from Hawaii to Alabama. They worked well and were constructed very well. I docked two stars because I had to order a size SMALLER than my dogs measured (based on the reviews here) and those fit perfectly, also because the belly strap gets very close to male dogs' "anatomy". My dogs actually measured at 19-20" but I ordered the 15-16" ones because other customer's reviews scared me and I was in a serious time crunch. Wish the strap was placed a little further up towards the chest for my boy's comfort and the sizing measurements were updated.

Great concept, but very poor quality!!! The overall size was very small The stitching was weak and the mesh started shredding on the 1st day I had it!!! The only thing that was good quality, was the velcro patches! This vest didn't even last for 1 week. There wasn't anything to send back. I cut my losses and ordered another type/style of svc dog vest from another company.

Item arrived as scheduled and fits my dog well, however there were only the "emotional support" patches without the "service animal" patches. Currently waiting a response from the seller in hopes of obtaining the other patches. Otherwise good condition and no other complaints. I have a mini-Australian Shepherd (22lbs, 24in chest circumference, 32in long) for which the "small" fits well with an appropriate amount of wiggle room/snugness.

I bought this harness because the one I have is too hot for my dog in warmer weather. This product is very light. However, it may be too light for my pit bull. The biggest problem is the belly strap is not placed properly for a dog with a large chest and a very small abdomen. It would be better if it had one strap just behind the front legs and another to go around the abdomen.The one strap on the harness goes around the abdomen on my dog. Since the construction of the harness is so light I have little control over the dog because the harness bunches up around her chest if any pressure is put on the leash.

Nice for summer if it fit. Way too big and I measured for it. Tried to fix it and messed it up. So Giving an update on my order because of great Customer Service! They let me know they shipped a smaller size and this one fits just great! Thank you so much, it means a lot when the company "Pretty Pets" takes care of their customers.

I love the product, it's perfect and fits my dog comfortably and perfectly. However, I ordered 2 at once along with some extra patches from you, and only one came with the other extra patches and the other hasn't even been dispatched and I'm very frustrated by this. I want to know if and when I'll get the other vest.

The netting on harness has worn through already and it had only been used on two occasions not strong enough to hold the dog if used with a lead on harness

Very good for a puppy. Light weight, but does slip round a little until he gets a bit bigger. 'In Training is a good size. But 'Emotional Support' is rather small.
