Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Nintendo DS)

having played the XBOX version of this I was really looking forward to having a portable version but I’m sad to say in general it’s not a great game. We’re faced with no voices and a map made of very small chunks that can sometimes be hard to navigate if the (fairly small) character is at the far end of a corridor, spell casting can be difficult and getting used to duelling was very difficult for me.Talking of getting used to things, get used to jumping through hoops (read: doing lots of tedious running and mini games) to complete the game.Honestly I am quite disappointed but maybe I’m trying to place home consoles values to a handheld console but it would’ve been nice to at least have the voices

Brought as christmas gift and it arrived just before christmas so a very well done for postage .. We was worried it would not arrive fast but it did . well priced too.. :)

Sadly this is a very boring game and certainly not worth the money. My daughter (10) and I have a number of gripes, the main ones being:1. The game consists mostly of moving your character through corridors and scenes in order to find other characters, which is so dull! The only challenging aspects seem to be trying to get past other characters that get in the way, and actually control the direction of your character.2. There are very poor in-game instructions and tips on exactly what you are supposed to do when eventually you reach the point of "casting spells", competing in games, or confronting other characters. Again, such tasks are very boring and repetitive throughout the game.3. There is a lot of monotonous dialogue between the characters, all of which is on-screen text rather than audio, and which leads to yet more instructions to find someone else.4. The music! Mirrors the tone of the game.Definitely not recommended. If you are looking for an action movie game, we would recommend The Incredibles instead - challenging and addictive.

This harry potter game wasn't for me unfortunately you have to be a massive fan of harry potter to enjoy this game to the full with little quizzes throughout the game that ask questions only people how love harry potter would know and that's not me the graphics are good though I must say also theres to much running around from one place to another for me to and a lot of (spells) to learn no for me at all

The game was only about 25% and then you have to find chairs etc to move 120 items to work spells on more game and less spells. The game part was excellent with the duels and spells mixed as you went along.

Harry Potter est apprécié par mon petit fils et aussi par ses parents qui sont fans de ce personnage anglo saxon.
