I normally buy a small bottle of defoamer which is not cheap but works incredibly well. You add an ounce or two, to your hot tub, and the foam is Gone in 30 seconds. With this product I was adding probably announces and the foam was not gone. I was impressed with the value until I saw that it did not work very well at all. I tried shaking it aggressively and using it again and that worked a little better. I get the vibe that this is a very watered-down product. I was even nervous that I received one that someone might have poured half out and filled with water. Normally this product works very well with a very small amount from other brands

The product did well with keeping foam at a minimum but it did turn my good silver jewelery black. I took to my jeweler & he said, I just about ruined my 2 necklaces with an emerald & opal. I drained the hot tub & will not use defoamer again.

1 gallon lasted over a year, and I have to defoam algicides in my hot tub. I have teenagers, so I use a lot of chemicals. It did not make mine cloudy. This defoamer really works good if sprayed, drops don't work as well like others do. Best of luck.

Not sure what they mean by “warmth and sheerness” but this is a very effective defoamer. We put some in a squirt bottle and it controls the foam for a couple weeks. There is no offensive odor or residue with this product.

Bought this for my Hot Tub to replace used Leisure Time. Purchased Bluewater b/c it was cheaper. Simply put, you get what you pay for. Made the tub milky, disgusting. The Leisure Time is clear and when applied immediately did the job. The Bluewater comes out milky and actually changed the clear tub water opaque. Sending back; just put in order for Leisure Time. Ugh...

Works great in both the SPA and the Pool. I do use an enzyme in the SPA once a week to break down oil. I have found that I put a few squirts of this in the day before the enzyme treatment, or it sends to coagulate and stick to the sides of the SPA. Other than that is works great!

Great for spa maintenance.

Great value. Works well. No scent that I could smell. Does not to be shaken well before using if it's stored in cold environment.
