This was a great first knife for our son (5). It is dull enough that we could trust he would be ok to whittle independently but sharp enough to actually get the job done.

This knife arrived plenty sharp out of the box and the leather sheath is perfect. My son uses it to make small wood carvings and whatever else he would use a pocket knife for. Easy to handle and a solid first knife.

He’s getting used to using it safely he got cut but he’s able to sharpen things and make spears great gift just takes some time to learn to use it safely

very cool it does have a decent edge on it but no tip my grandson loved the sheath

Seven year old grandson feels all grown up! The quality is nice, it’s not sharp enough to cut without some effort, nice rounded end. Fits nicely in the case that comes with it.

My grandson is 6 yrs old bought this and the glove for protection for Christmas. He lives in a farm and he uses this knife daily outside.
