This is a great option for a car that doesn’t have a roof rack! We have a 2021 Nissan rogue and needed an option of a roof bag that worked with a flat roof and this worked perfectly! It stayed in place for 2 12 hour car rides. Easy to set up on the car and it held a lot including two suitcases and lots of baby items. It didn’t move at all. It even rained on our way and everything stayed dry! Great durability and value for the money. Zipper was easy open and close with no snags.

This roof bag is amazing. It holds more than expected, it is, durable. So far zipper quality is good, it's easy to install, waterproof and was a great value. We do not have a roof rack on our vehicle so this was great and extremely functional for our needs!

Durable, doesn't slide once connected to the roof of car. Plenty of storage. Does not leak. No noise when connected for long dostance traveling.

We just took our first trip from Greensboro, NC. to Orlando, Fl. I was concerned that the carrier would make noise, to the contrary it was very quiet and worked perfectly for our family and pets. It fit perfectly on my 2019 Chevrolet Suburban, I did convert 4 of the door straps to be attached to the side rails but it worked well. The only issue I have is the lock that came with the carrier is junk, it broke immediately trying to set up the combination.

This works!! Grade A durability, zipper quality is amazing, just don't over stuff it. The price of this is reasonable, I have a Pontiac g6, with no roof rack, just use hooks provided, place them under weather strip just as instructed, and live I in CO. Needless to say, it's been weather tested through all the extremes, it holds up nicely...no leaks, great for saving space with decent storage capacity 💯

This thing is great!! So easy to use, I don’t have rails on my car and this was such a great option for our roadtrip with multiple little kids. The large capacity allowed us to store so much on top of the car, and the durability was unmatched. The material is thick and weather proof, so long as you secure it correctly, and it really holds up despite 10 hour driving days! The only time you hear anything is if one of the tails of a tie down gets loose and flaps in the wind, but that’s an easy fix! It fit perfectly on top of my GMC Acadia, and didn’t slide an inch during our days of driving.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT UNTIL YOU READ BELOW. I do not normally write a review on products but this I feel can save someone else from a large disaster. So I drove from Boston, MA to El Paso, TX with the Asinking Car Roof Bag Rooftop Cargo Carrier. I had searched all over Amazon for options and this one stood out for its size, as well as it being Waterproof (not water resistant - this is important). On my nearly 3,000 mile drive over 6 days I drove through 1 rain storm for about 50 miles and it took about an hour. This was on the second to last day. After arriving in El Paso, TX I pulled up to my brothers and after relaxing we went out to take the Rooftop bag off. Inside of it I had packed my camping sleeping bags, tents (no points or anything sharp) and nearly all of my clothes. I did put my clothes in bag just to be safe. When we were lifting it off, the Rooftop bag was INSANELY heavy. Mind you I did not fill it completely it was like 75% full. I opened the bag while on my roof and it was FULL of water. Like 4 inches of water just inside. I lost about 50% of my clothing, and 4 pairs of dress shoes. The rooftop bag was closed correctly, and the orange flap covered the zipper completely on my drive. I stopped every 3ish hours to let my dog run around and made it a habit to check on the seal. Lock never moved, and worked fine. But my clothing is destroyed. As you can see from the picture, this is the remaining standing water after we were able to remove it from the top of my car. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF THERE IS A CHANCE OF DRIVING THRU RAIN.

I’ve never purchased or used anything like this. I read as much as I could on Amazon and chose this product, it was easy to set up and take down. I drove from Virginia to Florida sun and rain, everything stayed clean and dry, there was never any noise or rattling. Once it was in place and secured, it was perfect. I will be using this again. I drive a 2022 Tiguan and it did lower my mpg but not by much at all. So glad I purchased this!!!
