We ordered two of these to replace our old worn out openers. We ended up having to get professional help installing them because they were so different from the previous style. However, once installed, they are incredible. I love how the app is so handy and they are very quiet too. Great garage door openers!

Ordered and it took extra weeks to receive. Finally got it, installed it, it dropped my door so fast that it wrapped up door cables the first time cycled door setting limits. Had to have a door company out to repair cables, had to add cable slack tensioners (NOT from Beam!) just for door to function. Smart functions did not work. They replaced the smart module, still did not work. Sent out another entire opener, now motion light constantly malfunctions. Now don’t even return my calls or emails. Bought a chamberlain for another door-works perfectly. RUN AWAY from the Thunderbolt! And run away from Beam Labs!

Will replace my other 2 openers. First off, its very quiet, 2nd its faster than my regular opener. Installation was pretty easy and reaching out to customerservice was a nice experience.

I used this on a large steel door. 14x14. It works perfectly. It was easy to install, the light is bright and I need an input for a contact from an keypad entry system, which it had the ability to do. The only problem I had was that there was enough slop in the mechanics of the door that it would not push the door down the last inch. I had to torque the spring shaft with a wrench when setting the down limit to get it to close. completely. I am very happy with the quality, operation and features of this opener.
