First off, the difference between black and black-a and khaki and khaki-a is a very slight difference in the fit. The "a" pants seemed to fit a bit more slim. The khaki ones were also slightly different colors, but it was negligible. The material is not super soft, but it may get better with time. Overall these are a great option for when sweatpants are too casual, but you still want to be comfy.

These are extremely comfortable at the waist, on my legs, and at the ankle. They have an elastic at the bottom that's not too tight, but fits snugly at the ankle. The top has an elastic band you can tie together to adjust tightness which is great. The crotch area of the pant has a sort of wide stitch which takes some of the stress of the stitching in the area. I'm very confident the pants won't rip if I'm trying to climb up on something. These pants look good as khakis or chinos in a semi-formal setting as well.The material also feels great. However, I'm docking one star mainly because the second pair I bought was unsatisfactory. The first pair I ordered was great and I'm still using them. I ordered another to use while I'm exercising outside but when the second pair arrived, they felt like a completely different pant entirely. The material was glossy, the color was off, and the fit was all wrong; they were too loose and were much baggier than the original pair.

Size XL. I am five feet eight inches tall. I weigh 160 pounds. My waist is 32 inches, no gut. Somewhat athletic build. Size XL fit me just the way I like. I washed them in the washer machine and dried them in the dryer machine before I wore them. Remember, cotton shrinks! They held up good in the washer and dryer. The waist has plenty of room, but that's okay because there's a drawstring. The length is just right. I have a size large and the length feels too short. So I went a size bigger, XL, and I'm happy with them. I like the elastic around the ankles because I can wear them around the house without them dragging on the floor. I ordered 2 pairs of these joggers for my son for work. He likes them a lot, however, BOTH pairs had holes at the crotch within just a couple of months. The pants in general fit well, and washed well as far as the material, just not the seams. Because he likes these & the fit so well, I decided to give them 1 more chance to order a pair and see if maybe last year we got 2 out of a bad batch, then to hopefully go agead & order several more for him...So I just ordered the exact same pants, exact same color, size (Md), etc.,& the sizing is completely different. He wears a medium, which is what we had in the previous ones, but this pair is huge. I thought they must have sent the wrong size but the tag says medium, so I'm not sure if they were just mis-sized, or if they've changed them up. Either way the sizing now is way bigger. So I am definitely disappointed.

These fit my son perfectly. Sturdy material and they look impressive.
