First of all, it comes to you compressed, but as soon as you take it out of the rollup, it gets into shape. I was happy that I could NOT smell even a hint of off-gassing or plastic-packaging on the floor pillow or the pillowcase. It literally passed the sniff-test. Secondly, sitting on it is a real relief. I sit cross-legged on it to stretch my hip flexors. It's firm enough to keep my rear end supported while I lean into my hips, and the velvety pillowcase is soft and comfy. I have two other floor pillows that I sit on when I'm sorting through things laid out on the ground (like doing a Marie Kondo sorting process, or organizing different documents into categories. They are circular shaped, with a dip in the center (like a tuft), which I got from Society6. I love them but I have to sit in the center of them, because if I want to sit cross-legged on them, I feel like I might roll off the puffy round ledge and fall backwards on my butt. This evenly shaped square pillow is great for sitting on when my hips are feeling stiff. Not too soft and yet, not too firm, either. GREAT item.

This was the ideal size for a new seat in my recliner lounge chair. This easy chair's recieved a lot of use and is 10yrs+ old, I've had it since new and a side by side photo comparison of my easy chair, from when it was new to today shows that it has been compressed in height by about 10cm (4 inches). This floor pillow is about the same height as was what had been lost and it's made from memory foam. I sit in my easy chair for several hours, every day and it just might be better now, with this cushion /pillow than when the chair was new. On top of that is the fact that I live in the Australian outback, currently we're only in spring but already we've had 37°C+ (98.6°F+) daytime temperatures and the covering on this didn't make my thighs area sweat because it's a breathable fabric and probably a natural fibre also. I didn't get a brand new one, I bought it at a reduced price as a used & returned item. I couldn't see anything wrong with it and unlike the original recliner chair padded seat, this pillow/cushion has a zipper allowing the cover to be washed. My point to this statement is that if there is something wrong with this cushion I can't see nor feel it and if you're buying it new than it'll possibly be even better.

We use it for the dog, looks great and he loves it👍

8/9/25 I decided I needed to come on here and again and say how great this pillow is. It really has been perfect. I’ve been using a daily for several months as I said because of surgery. Firm yet comfortable good quality and the price was excellent. I wish they had a second version that was more like 17“ x 17“ that would be easier to take with me as I still have trouble standing and the extra height helps This is great. Nice cover, as described high density foam. I was having surgery and needed it for a chair. I would be using after surgery for it to be higher as well as I needed more support behind my knees to get up which the size of this gave me. So I realize that may not be other people‘s use of it I do recommend it. It has given me great support.. It was a great value, very reasonable for what it is. I have been using it daily for like two months and it has held up well.
