Bought this item for my son's Halloween costume and absolutely love it. He is 20 months old, and this fits him like a charm since it's adjustable in the back, but also has an adjustable chin strap. It is great quality as it feels just like a real hard hat! My son loves wearing it (which is amazing because hates having anything on his head) but I think that just speaks to the comfort of this! A super fun item for a costume, as a construction worker for Halloween he got lots and lots and lots of compliments with this! And, for boy's dress up/play, this is a great item. The bonus for this was he absolutely lit up when he saw my dad (his grandpa and a carpenter, who he adores) wearing his.

Fun hat but no protection
We got this for our grandson on his fifth birthday, along with a reflective vest. He loves it! It looks like a real plastic hard hat, but claims to offer no protection.

Good Quality But Better For An Older Child
Kids hat is too heavy. Will return. Have a 3 year old grandson but although the hat is well made it wouldn’t be comfortable for him to wear. Maybe ok for older child.

Great Buy
Bought for career day for my 3yr old that actually loves anything construction. He loved it! Even wears it as a rain hat. Well constructed and feels durable. Had this over a month now and its still in tact even with a rough and tumble 3yr old.
