These are awesome! I've had 6 skunks under my shed all summer, and 4 under my deck. The skunk repellent I've used in previous years hasn't worked as we've had a particularly rainy summer, so it has been constantly washed away. Friends have made other suggestions, but I've been leery of most of them, as I was afraid they would be an irritant for my dog. She had already been sprayed twice this summer, and I didn't want to make that situation worse. In desperation, I went looking for something different, and this is what I found. I bought a package of 2, to start, and aimed one at the shed and one at the deck. The skunks under the shed left that night, and have not been seen since! I still had an issue under the deck, as the skunks had dug holes under it, so they had 3 entrances. I bought another package of two, so I had enough to aim them at all 3 skunk entrances, and still leave 1 pointed toward the shed. I have not seen a skunk since, and I know they're gone as my dog was going crazy every time she went outside and smelled them, and that totally stopped over a month ago - just as soon as I installed the 2nd packages. I would totally recommend these, and they're cheaper than similar products on Amazon. I'm also thrilled that I'll no longer need to purchase skunk repellent several times each summer!I'm editing this review, 4 months after purchase. One of the 4 lights failed 35 days after purchase, and replacing the battery did not help. This was just after the Amazon warranty expired. A second one failed about 6 weeks ago - so after 2 1/2 months or so - and I can't replace the battery as the screw holding the unit together seems to be stripped or in crooked. Even the Phillips attachment on my power drill won't budge it.They're still better than the ones that cost over twice as much, but have a 3 year warranty for defects. Those won't hold a charge for more than 24 hours without at least 4 hours of direct sunlight daily. That's not always possible with clouds!I will still probably buy another box of these next spring when the skunks are coming out, but may look around for something better, as I now know what types of concerns I might ultimately have.

I received mine and put them in the garden at deer eye level. One I could see from the house and the other one pointing away. Soon after, the one pointing at the house failed. I contacted the company and they replaced the pair. Great customer service. They contacted me about the product and I told them they had failed. Soon after I got my replacement. Great follow up by the company. I still have a couple deer visiting the garden but not the amount that I had before. I am also a beekeeper and want to keep the skunks away. After my garden season I will have to mount them lower to the skunks eye level to help with that problem. Thanks to the company for the great customer service. That means a lot.

My parakeet's cage is by the den window. A few nights I heard a bang into the window, but when I went to look nothing was there. One night I was sitting in the den, when I heard the noise again, and saw what I thought was a cat on the ground. All of a sudden, a giant owl with a wingspan the size of some Lord of the Rings creature flew away, and 15 minutes later he tried again! I had enough, ordered this, put one of them above the window, and the owl hasn't tried to attack again. I've seen him a few times in the neighbors trees, so I assume this light was the answer

These work awesome! We had problems with wild animals burrowing under our brick front porch (even though we live in an urban subdivision). We tried multiple deterrents, with random and limited success, but these work great! We haven't had an issue with wild animals since placing these on either sides of our porch six months ago. They are sitting in black mulch, so they are not obnoxiously visible and blend in well with the surroundings. Based on our recommendation, our neighbors are using these now, too. We are extremely happy with our purchase.

Works better than expected. I don't have these things in direct sunlight because they are shaded by the chicken coup. Somehow magically they still work every night and I've been using them for almost two months. I do stick them in direct sunlight one every couple of weeks though.

This has worked out very well for us, we had tried a lot of other things to keep the racoons off our roof, and using it as a toilet!This works even better than we hoped, the neighbors think it is a alarm system! Awesome, as some of said people are a little on the snakey side. Thank you, job well done!

One of these already stopped working!! I've already attached it to my fence so what do I do? The other one works great though, but I purchased this as a pair! Can I just return the one?

It is up & hopefully keeping those raccoons off my car - still up after a storm & working
