VETiONX Arthro Chews for Dogs - Mobility & Joint Support for Medium to Large Dogs

I have used the Arthro Chews for about five years for three elderly dogs. The good news is that this really works. I see an immediate difference in their temperament and friskiness once they are taking this. In the past, I gave them the liquid version and the granular version, with great success. Now, the bad news is that they have changed the formulation into a large, hard lump that is extremely difficult (if not impossible) for an old dog with few teeth to chew. They are so hard that I can't even crumble them into their food. I have to take a heavy meat tenderizer and try to pulverize them so that I can then add them to their food. I am worried that I am going to crack my granite countertop. I have asked (begged?) for them to reformulate back to what works for older dogs and am told "maybe" by the end of 2020. This saddens me because they are so effective. When I quit buying, I can really tell the difference in about two weeks' time. I guess that I will continue to purchase, and hope that my counter tops last until a new formulation is provided. But, buyer beware. If your older dog is missing some teeth they might not be able to chew these either.

unable to open the safety cap. This is a large bottle so very hard to get my hand around...If we can ever get this open- We will have to transfer into another receptacle I hope that we can. We have been able to press the cap down, but then it does not turn outside of the safety clicks. hoping to replace a liquid that we have used with incredible effect for the last 2 years for our aging Airedale terrier. Please change you packaging ASAP. We have another delivery scheduled of this product, and will return that one too if we are not able to resolve this problem.Well...we were able to finally open the product. ( my husband was.) our picky airedale does seem to like it. (rarely will he eat a pill without cheese or peanut butter. but he likes these. I hope this works as well as the liquid we have been using with great results from this company for several years.update! after 4 bottles these pills seem to be working well for our airedale. I am still not sure if it works as well as their liquid product that they took off of the market. But our Airedale who is over a 100-lbs, Large 11.5 year old boy tolerates these well, and looks forward to them. They seem to keep him as mobile and pain free as he can be in cold temps. If we wait too long in-between does, he lets us know. So other than the difficult opening with the child proof top, these are a true win.We just ordered 2 more bottles. This will be 6 for us, and they nicely discount a bit at checkout too. Volume discount- maybe? its nice!

This is a great product to combine with Zesty Paws Curcumin Bites to combat arthritis and inflammation. The VETiONX didnt work as well on its own, until adding the Curcumin, but this product has very high levels of active ingredients to help arthritis compared to other products which cost more. Highly recommend.

My dog is 15 years old with Arthistis in his right hip. With the damp weather, this product helped eliminate some of the pain. Thanks.

This had helped my old dog tremendously.She is picky on what she will eat when it comes to meds that are good for her. But these she loves and have helped with her limp and just her overall wellbeing in being a 13 year old dog.

We have an older dog and have tried so many products to help her joints. This product seems to be helping her mobility and makes it easier for her to get up and down.

This product is causing my 9 year old Golden to throw up... Cannot recommend it.

I used this product for a couple months on my dog with hip displasia and didn’t really notice a difference so I stopped giving it to him. Within days I noticed he was much less active than he had been. I ordered more and within a day he was doing better again. I will keep using this and recommend it to anyone with a pet with joint issues.
