Way cheaper then every other curved sanding disc
No they didn't last the longest, but only use the curved edge, then when it's written use it as a flat disc. Doing this I really got my moneys worth

Not as good as I had hoped
These are OK for welding school but they don't hold up very long. But for the price point I guess they are alright! Would probably buy again.

Good value for these specialty wheels.
Got these to help on some tight corners for a vise I’m making. Hadn’t ever seen them before but I have found loads of uses for these things. Can’t compare quality to other brands but I am quite happy with these.

Reasonable product, performs well. Maybe a bit overpriced given the durability
I've used only flat flapper discs before, so this product, with abrasive "wrapped" all the way around the beveled edge, was new for me. I was looking for something that could be used to mold shallow impressions into wood and aluminum (maybe even soft steel) and this seemed like it might do the trick. The outer edge is about 1 cm thick, so if you remove the safety shield from your angle grinder, it does have the ability to "dig in" to your material in a controllable way, edge-on, to form smoothly contoured indentations. At 40 grit, it bites pretty fast into wood, but it's a good, controllable rate on aluminum. On soft steel it's a slow go, but it definitely does do the job, allowing you to make shallow indentations with smooth sides. Nice!So it's an interesting and different product that I'm glad to have in my shop now for specialty work like this.My only complaint is durability vs. price: Like all flapper discs, the abrasive is embedded into a fabric backing and it breaks down pretty quickly. The attached photo shows the results after spending only about one minute grinding the surface rust off a piece of soft steel, applying the tool at about a 30 degree angle and just making multiple strokes across the material, starting with a brand new disc. As can be seen, even after just that one minute, the abrasive is wearing away around the outer edge and the fabric is exposed and ripping slightly. There's still plenty of abrasive life left in the flat portion of the disc (which wasn't used at all for this test) but the thing is, if you're concentrating the work against the beveled edge, the disc is not going to last very long, at least against hard materials. So imo, at a bit over $3/disc -- I received them at no cost via the VIne program, but the advertised price was $17 for five at the time of my order -- they seem to me a little bit overpriced, given the durability. I think given their short lifetime, they should be priced a bit lower. I took off one star for that, but functionally, they work just fine, and provide a work capability that you don't normally have with typical flat flapper discs.

They do the job
Took a little extra effort to strip the rust off the tongue of my enclosed trailer...usually I find this grit to be a little more aggressive, but I found I needed to do a little more work with the tool, apply a bit more elbow grease. They were durable enough, maybe slightly less than a store bought equivalent, but lasted much longer than I would expect for the price, so they are a great value, and a great price at that
