Super fun to blast around the house and chase the cats. Works on heavy pile carpet and of course any hard surface with ease. Average length lawn outdoors was not a problem but super dense outdoor areas may give it some trouble. All in all a pretty decent amateur r/c car. Users that are used to higher and off-road buggys will not be impressed, but this is great for any beginner.

This 8 wheel crawler is lots of fun on just cut grass, or dirt and sand as long as you don't run into any gravel. It has the power to navigate, but not the ground clearance. That's a shame, because it LOOKS like it could take on all kinds of terrain with those eight large driven wheels. However, as soon as you encounter even a couple inch high mound of dirt, there is a chance you will climb onto it and then have it's belly hang up on top and it will sit there and spin all eight wheels. Same thing with just a small fallen tree branch. It will climb onto it, but can't get over it due to it getting hung up, stuck on top of the branch, unable to get enough traction to pull itself over. Also, it steers like a tank. To go left it simply holds all wheels on the left and the right four wheels kind of "pulls/drags" the vehicle around. This doesn't work well on grass, as it gets hung up trying to pull itself around across the grass. It comes with two large beefy batteries, and is waterproof, so you can take it down to the beach and play in the sand and surf. Again, just don't try and climb over anything, or it will get hung up. Thus, only four stars. To bad. If it had even half an inch more clearance, those huge 8 wheels could conquer some serious terrain.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a decent RC car but there is one major flaw that prevents me from giving it a higher rating. It has a flawed steering system. It is incapable of veering. If you want the car to make a gradual turn, it is not capable of doing so. Quick turns are fine. In fact, it can turn on a dime and spin in place. Excellent tight turn capability. But if you want the car to veer in one direction, it is not capable of doing so. I have owned a lot of RC cars in my lifetime and am very disappointed by how this handles.But other than that, it is a good car. It is well constructed to resist damage. It's large wheel design and high power level enables it to move over rugged terrain. It can literally climb up a wall (before tumbling over of course). I drove it into a curtain and it began to climb the curtain!So if you are looking for an RC car that is strong and capable of moving over rough, bumpy terrain (even high carpeting indoors), this will serve you well. But if you are like me and prefer an RC car with excellent steering and maneuverability, I would not recommend this product.

This RC vehicle is awesome looking and incredible fun to operate. It is as decribed by the seller. A great plus is that it comes with two batteries so you can enjoy twice the amount of time operting the vehicle. The eight rubber tires are a nice size and soft. No problems operting it in the house. The range from the controller is good. It has a lot of power and operates about 25 minutes on one battery give or take. I am far from young and have had a great deal of fun operating this thing. I am very pleased with this item and believe you will be as well. Therefore, Dr. T. highly recommends this item!!

This is a cool enough looking RC car, but a little smaller than I was expecting. There isn't anything majorly wrong with it, I just feel like it could have been made a little bit better. The components feel on the cheap side. The truck has handled all the terrains with relative ease, but we have not tried water yet. The truck is not as responsive as I feel it should be. When trying to turn it can be slow to react. The battery stays charged for a decent amount of time and it has a decent amount of power. I feel like this would make a great gift for anyone starting out with their first RC vehicle. The price is good for a starting vehicle and it works well enough to get the basic hang of how to operate RC's.

This is a great RC truck for kids and adults and would make a great Christmas gift for anyone. We have really enjoyed this RC vehicle as it performs quite well on literally every surface that we have tried it on. It having the eight-wheel drive gives it some very impressive capabilities making it easier and cooler to drive both inside and outside on any surface. This truck has a nice acceleration to it and comes with very good controls. This truck has no troubles climbing more vertical surfaces or even over rocks or obstacles on the ground. The tires are soft and have excellent traction and overall have a quality feel to them. The remote control is easy to use and has considerable range especially in this price range for a RC truck. It comes with two batteries and of course the charger for the batteries. I estimate the runtime on average is around 25 minutes but can increase or decrease depending on how hard your drive it for the duration. This is a good looking RC truck that should make any kid super happy and will probably satisfy any adult for some good times as well. Overall it's a good looking high quality RC vehicle for a very fair price. I would like to have one like this that's red or green if they ever make one. Definitely recommended to all!

Small but powerful RC truck, does very well in low off-road terrain like grass, dirt. and small gravel ground. The wheel base from the floor to the truck isn’t much so rock climbing isn’t ideal however it rides through low water puddle and streams with ease, also comes with 2 truck batteries, USB charger, and small screwdriver- no batteries for the controller(2 AA needed).
